A nice upgrade from using minis
Seems to work great. Has much more volume than the minis.

The Google Bluetooth Speaker - Great Sound and Easy to use!
The sound is great, bass is sufficient, clarity is crisp, from such a small speaker. In my opinion, better than Alexa. You just speak, 'Ok Google' and off you go. Play music, make calls etc. I prefer this over Alexa because I pay for Youtube Premium so my music is totally uninterupted by commercials. Also, I have my own play lists. It is worth the money, in my opinion.

Good Speaker but difficult to change the speakers pre set language.
Well, it is difficult to change the speakers pre set language. Mine came with Spanish as default even the manual was in Spanish. I can't tell you how long I fought with it to get hot to change more exactly what made it change. But after several unplug replugging and switching the mic on and off combined with trying to find something in the settings it suddenly switched to English! This was frustrating for my blind friend for whom this was a gift. I was called over the next day to help. Just saying there should be an easier way to change the speakers language not just what language it is programmed to hear. Which it did fine understanding English and then replying in Spanish. A Spanish speaking friend tried to help but it didn't give spoken instructions on how to change the setting either! How many resources does one need to do this simple and necessary operation!

Solid Google smart speaker takes some trail and error with getting good music
This is a good solid Google smart speaker. I did not have the Spanish language issues but that is due to its not my first Google smart speaker its my 5th. I am blind so I do not know if the box or instructions where in English the device is heavy for its size set up took a few extra steps had to download a device manger app for the 1st part of the setup then back to the Google Home app to complete teh typcical setup. Podcast and reading sound is good and strong. However music sound is flat I have a Echo Show 8 that has a deep rich powerful sound right out of the box. After tweaking the equalizer which is pretty basic it sounded a bit better but a collection of presets or a auto adjustable option for the equalizer would be great.

Needed a speaker- excellent sound
I updated my Google Nest Mesh from the 5 to the 6E and was very disappointed to find out the points are completely speakerless. No audio of any kind on the points- so I googled “best sounding Google speaker” and this came up.. and I was not disappointed. Very full rich sound coming from a relatively small but deceptively heavy speaker. Setup was about 2 minutes and I am exceedingly happy with the purchase. I use the speaker in my woodshop and it does a very nice job of filling the room and being loud enough to hear over some of my machines. I listened to the entire play of Hamilton while building some cabinets and I swear they were in the room with me- the quality was so crispy and clean. Very impressed.

Good quality and value
This delivers for the price point and what it’s intended for. I wanted a more of an immersive experience, went with a SONOs era 300. In terms of speakers they are in different classes so it’s not a fair comparison. The quality, function and style are there.

It didn't work. It just says, "Log on to your Google Home app." Google has no tech support.
Google's policy of providing very little useful tech support, and ZERO "real human" support, backfires on them, because customers have no choice but to return products, as I have now done with this "Google Nest" smart speaker. Here's what happened: I successfully completed the set up. But, when I gave the speaker commands, it always replied, "Log in to your Google Home app." When I opened my phone's Google Home app (incidentally, there is no "log in" page), I saw nothing that was even remotely relevant. So I went on line to find out how to contact Google tech support. They have NO phone support, or ANY "real human" support of ANY kind. So I went to their "Nest" products customer support site, where I had to select the product from a drop-down list of "Nest" products. And - guess what? - smart speakers are not included in the drop-down list! The web page wouldn't let me continue without selecting a product from the list, so I had to abandon this route. I then typed my Google Nest speaker issue in Google Search, in the hope of finding the solution SOMEWHERE on line. This action brought up various forums. I saw complaints about this issue dating back to 2019. Most of the complaints were not answered, but, after sifting through a number of them, I finally found a reply to one of them from someone at Google (what a shock!). It said that Google had fixed this issue with an update. That was in 2019. I buy a Google Nest smart speaker in 2024; and it has the same issue. So much for Google's update in 2019! I doubt if I will buy Google products again - simply because they have ZERO effective tech support.
