Dek, Torino and Napoli are great pressured and not a single accident with the capsules occurred, also they all taste great. However, Venetia, Firenze and Roma had less pressure in the capsule and the machine broke some of them after pouring the right amount for doing an espresso. Being said that, please improve the capsules but they are great great coffes and I love DEK. it has a very special taste.

Seriously...don't buy this product. You WILL be sorry. We run a guest house and order around 9 16-pod boxes of Dolce Gusto pods every month. Thought we'd try this one. Every single pod bursts at the rim when in the machine, sending hot water all over the place. Impossible to use. Tried them in a brand new Genio with the same messy result. It's clearly a known issue as Amazon refunded us via the helpline chat service.

It's a real shame these pods burst in the machine at least 3/4 times and go everywhere as the coffee is really tasty and amazing value for money. I would 100% repurchase these if they fix the issue with bursting but sadly I'll be searching for another brand until then.

These pods are consistently good in quality across the range of six separate boxes, the plastic film wrap on each pod is differently coloured in order that it is possible to distinguish between the different styles of coffee. Of the pods themselves they are light, the film wrap is not difficult for the Dolce Gusto machine to puncture and therefore is unlikely to damage your machine or cause wear and tear with repeated use of a greater sort than expected. None of the talked of problems with the seal being too tight resulting in small pieces of plastic making their way into the cup of coffee that I have read about with some generic or alternative brand pods to the Dolce Gusto "official" brand. There is the same "run off" or leakage from used pods as with most pods, so a good idea to have a tissue lined box or paper cup to dispose of used pods into for long enough that they may drain some what before they are disposed off in the trash can. Otherwise you could be looking at some liquid gathering in the base of the bin or running out of the bin. I liked the flavours of all of the coffee, they also generate some great, strong coffee aromas in the making of/preparation process, particularly the darker roasts. I do not have a favourite personally and they all have a fantastic froth or "sheen" upon the top of the dark brew, a feature that I really love from good coffee pods and espresso coffees made from grounds. These pods are probably ideal for making espresso shot sized drinks or slightly larger lungo style glasses of coffee but around our office everyone has drawn average, and even larger, mugs of coffee from them and not found that they are too dilute or watery to drink. Recommended. Will definitely consider making repeat purchases from this range of coffee pods. Definitely recommended.

Coffee tastes good, but the seal on the top of the capsules pops off and water comes out the sides. I end up using two just to get a full cup. Also, the top of the capsules sometimes melts to the machine.

Liked the variety of coffee good value for the money

Coffee is lovely, but hit rate on leaking pods is 50% so far. Will attempt to get their beans direct from Italy and make it manually. Hopefully they will correct the process, but of course it could be a storage/transport issue.

Smaken verschillen natuurlijk maar ik ben aangenaam verrast... De één wat sterker ,bitterder, en ook wat slappere koffie zit er tussen , maar alle zes blends zijn prima te drinken .. Tot nu toe nog geen slechte capsules gehad . Erg blij mee ,ga zeker weer zo,n pakket kopen over enige tijd . (hopelijk blijft deze deal nog lang op Amazon)

The capsules don’t work in a dolce gusto machine. I’ve lost several,sometimes it didn’t even make any coffee, the water just sat in the capsule and didn’t come out. I thought it was the machine until I read all the bad reviews. I would say that when on rare occasion the coffee does come out it’s good.
