Stone Lain Lusso Stoneware Dinnerware Set, 16-Piece - Service for 4, Black

This set is absolutely STUNNING! It feels substantial and looks expensive and I love the off-white stone color. My sisters words exactly when we opened the box "those salad plates are the star of the show" and she's not wrong. They're unique but also versatile and can be used for so much more than just salads. My only issue with this set is that after using them you can see marks/scratches from the silverware inside. I have some pretty heavy duty silverware so not sure if it's just my utensils or perhaps it's the dishes. It's so minimal though and it doesn't bother me and I already ordered another set. Love these so much!

I’ve been using these for about a month and they are holding up really well, no scratches or chips. The website photos are fully inaccurate though. It depicts a warm/peachy toned pinkish red when it is fully a mauve toned pink. I still like it but wish it was the color depicted.

Love the color and the ribbed design. It feels good when you hold it. Good quality, not too heavy. This is one of our favorite sets. Sturdy and well made. Take your dinner experience to the next level with this set. The shapes are a little unorthodox. But it's not uncomfortable. A little hard to pick up when full because of the shape. But once you set it down, there's no reason to pick them up.

Superb quality dinnerware. The color is true to picture. It came nicely packed, not a single scratch or chip. The salad plates are AMAZING! The plates and the bowls are very heavy. I wash them in the dishwasher every day and they are holding up great, seem very durable. Price is right too.

There’s almost zero surface area on the salad and dinner plates. They’re beautiful, but not functional.

These are amazing quality, they are heavy and sturdy. I’ve had no issues with chipping, and they are absolutely worth the price.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s really beautiful but 4 pieces were completely damaged. Amazon will replace, but I hope the 4 pieces that I need don’t end up damaged again. Packaging could be better by adding bubble wrap. Other than that it’s beautiful and the color is gorgeous

This review is for the STONE LAIN Stoneware Dinner Set (Pattern - Lusso, Color - White, Size - 16-Piece Service for Four). I received a free taxable sample of this set to review in my search for an everyday stoneware dinner set.The set arrived in a branded and decorated box with each item securely nestled within smaller cardboard boxes and separated with cardboard dividers. The set is ready to gift in the box with a bow and ribbon or wrapped in giftwrap with a gift tag.There are 16 total pieces to this set which includes 4x each of a salad plate, dinner plate, soup bowl, and pasta bowl. The salad plate weighs 430 grams and has an unglazed footed 4 1/4" circle as a base which rises and expands to a 5 1/8" diameter before completely leveling off and expanding into an 8 1/4" outside diameter. The larger dinner plate weighs 900 grams and has a similarly unglazed footed 5 5/8" raised circle as a base which widens to a 7" inside diameter before completely flattening into a 10 3/4" outside diameter. The soup bowl weighs 614 grams and has an unglazed 4 3/4" footed circle base that expands and rises 2 3/4" for a total height of 3" and an outside diameter of 6 1/4". The pasta bowl weighs 724 grams with a 6 1/2" circular base which expands and rises 1 3/8" for a total height of 1 5/8" and an outside diameter of 8 1/2". Construction is of a stoneware material finished with a semi-glossy slightly off-white glaze that is stamped as being microwave and dishwasher safe. The workmanship of this set is acceptable but not superb as it came out of the box with some surface irregularities and imperfections.The overall look of this set is nice and versatile with the fluted edging and solid white color. I like the solid weight and feel of the pieces and that you can interchangeably stack the smaller plate, smaller bowl, and larger bowl onto the larger plate for an especially fancy look. In terms of use, the pieces in this set fit in quite well to my everyday rotation and I've gotten the most use out of the soup bowl as its wide diameter and deeper sides make it more like a cereal bowl and quite versatile for plating individual dishes over rice, pasta, and vegetables. The biggest drawback so far has been that the material chips quite easily and that the darker unglazed stoneware material exposed by the chip stands out against the lighter glazed surface.All in all, this stoneware set has a nice look, usable sizing, and a solid weight but does tend to chip easily. I recommend this as a decent option for an everyday dinnerware set with a versatile stylish look, but also recommend considering additional more durable options such as ones made out of bone china.
