These are pretty nice boas. I had to buy two because I was crafting with them. Now you do really have to shake them really well. And you will still have some feathers flying around. But these green boas are not skimpy. They are quite thick with LOTS of feathers. Some of the other ones on the page actually looked skimpy. That's why I picked these up. Also, you should do your due diligence and really find out some info about boas and the different types of feathers they use. Lots of feathers on Amazon. Oh, also, if someone tells you that the feathers are 5 to 7 inches long, you're going to have to take that with a grain of salt. Peel off 2 inches or so. Bring that down to reality.

Boa shed terribly and just out the package it was all over everything. Very thin too.

It was pretty, but it sheds like crazy. It was also very scratchy on the back of my neck. I left it in the stadium. If you want it for one night of usage, it's fine; otherwise, don't purchase it.

Nice color and fluffier than most bias fold in the costume shops that pop up around Halloween. It sheds quite a bit, especially when first used. I recommend opening the package outdoors and giving it a really good shake before bringing it inside, otherwise expect to have feathers (and little bits of feather) all over your room. I would buy again in other colors.

I have been looking for the past year for this...had 2 Christmas stockings to make and needed a full and classy look for the stocking's trim...the tinsel jazzes this up !
