Sylvanian Families Beechwood Hall

I have now purchased a couple of the Beechwood Halls but the first time around it was for my niece and this time it is for my daughter who is now old enough to enjoy the magic of Sylvanian Families. I use to collect and have Sylvanian Families when I was little and so it's really strange but so nice to now see my daughter playing with them and they are still such a lovely brand and more importantly just as well made and designed as when I was little.Beechwood Hall is one of the larger homes available and measures approx 35cm tall by 50cm wide.One of the big features and purchasing points for me other than the size is that it has two levels, working lights in two rooms and can be changed into different layouts and even have other homes such as the cosy cottage added to it to increase its size even further.The house does not come with any furniture or animals unless you are purchasing one of the sets with an add on pack such as the Beechwood Hall plus living room bundle and so I just wanted to let anyone know this who may be reading this as you will need to purchase furniture and characters to go alongside if your child doesn't already have some.The rooms upstairs are a little small and my only quibble would be that it would be nice to have larger rooms and more of them but if you are adding the cosy cottage or perhaps Cedar House onto the hall then this makes it a really fantastic sized mansion for your child's Sylvanian characters. There is a floor piece that can either be used on the wooden look side to extend the floor area or it can be flipper over to the grass look side to create a garden. I do wish there was someway to also buy another of these pieces as then you could have the best of both sides.In addition to the working lights in two rooms and the changeable floor piece there are also balcony balustrades and a movable staircase. You can buy extra ceiling lights for the other rooms if you wish alongside the furniture and animals.This is a fantastic large Sylvanian house and does occasionally go on offer as I managed to purchase both the sets I have bought at a really good price so it's worth keeping an eye out for the occasional offer but even at the full price this is a great set and one I'd be happy to purchase. My daughter is over the moon with her new "bunny house" and we are slowly filling the rooms with furniture now.

I bought this product for my granddaughter for Christmas. The green square can be flipped over to be used as a wooden floor and can be put in many different spots around the house. The balcony is a nice touch as is the landing (but the landing and stairs seem to fall down a lot) the stairs and can be clipped into different places around the house.It comes with no furniture (which is fine and expected)The lights do work well and I am most pleased.My granddaughter assembled this herself and with no trouble. I think it is educational in the sense that you have to assemble it yourself and its a good lesson in patience for her.Only 2 rooms have lights and that's the only down side, I'd say.One upstairs room leads out onto the balcony and the other can be divided into 2 rooms or into 1 large room VERY easily. Once divided it has 1 room rather large and can fit a bunk bed and book case:  Sylvanian Families Children's Bedroom Set  with lots of space left over and the other room can fit the cot from the nursery:  Sylvanian Families Nightlight Nursery Set The two downstairs can be used as a living room and fits the following in easily:  Sylvanian Families Country Living Room Set  And the other as a kitchen with the following and tons of room leftover from it:  Sylvanian Families Dining Room Set This is a very good buy - spacious, durable and fun. Really pleased.

This was bought for my daughter's birthday as she had requested. It was a bit bigger than expected but fitted perfectly with the smaller house that she already had (cosy cottage or something?) It has two working lights, doors that open and shut nicely, and different configurations for the rooms. The details are nice and it seems pretty well made. All in all my daughter was very happy. Bottom line though is that it's a plastic dolls house so vastly over priced but it is Sylvanian Families so that's expected. Luckily, this was reduced to near half price. I most definitely would not have bought it at the full price. Especially considering it doesn't come with any furniture or dolls (which is fine as we have a near mountain of stuff that's suitable but that might be an issue if you don't have other Slyvanian Families stuff. All the accessories can cost a fair bit.) Some reviews expressed issues with the packaging. Ours was fine. It arrived in an enormous Amazon box and the original packaging was in good condition.

I got this for my 4 year old Daughters Christmas present, and she has already got a budding village growing as the Sylvanian Families toys are a bit addictive to purchase once you start. This house has fitted in well, and is the biggest of the houses in the village so has more than one family living in it, there are only 4 rooms so deciding on the furniture sets to fit in was a bit difficult but we got a great Kitchen (better than my own), a lovely Lounge with Fire place, a nice Bathroom and separate Toilet and a small Bedroom.My only down side is the lights which are really cool - my daughter keeps turning them on and forgetting to turn them off so the battery's die quickly and have to be replaced, about once a day since Christmas, I wish they were brighter so that I could notice them and turn them off after she has left, but there might be a lesson in there about saving electricity.This was a great purchase and I have a very happy 4 year old and I expect this present will last for a long time to come - possibly future generations.

La casa es el regalo perfecto para cualquier niño, es preciosa y tienes una página para descargar el papel para las paredes gratis a tu gusto, también tienes opciones de comprar cualquier tipo de accesorios, cortinas, muebles incluso el baño. Las cortinas también se las puedes hacer tú con trozos de tela que tengas por casa.La casa viene con luz que funciona con un interruptor para encender y apagar. Es fácil montar la casa y después incluso la puedes dejar montada aunque no se esté jugando con ella porque queda bonita en un estante, además se cierra para que no ocupe tanto. Nosotros hemos comprado también la casa de campo para acoplar a la casa o hacer un mini pueblo.En cuanto al precio si la veo cara para venir la casa sola con las luces, ni empapelada, ni ningún accesorio, ni ningún muñeco, pero es algo que puedes solucionar si no tienes prisa y esperas al black friday para comprarla y ahorrarte unos eurillos para comprar después algún complemento.

La casa è carina in plastica robusta e di buona qualità, ricca di dettagli e di texture dei materiali come tegole del tetto, parquet, decorazioni in bassorilievo etc. Il montaggio è stato facile, non mancavano pezzi, istruzioni chiare.In ogni stanza c'è un interruttore e un attacco per lampadari, nella confezione ne abbiamo trovati due, forniti di lampade, quando vengono accese l'effetto è molto suggestivo. Regalo apprezzato, arrivato nei tempi previsti e imballato bene.

Cette maison pour Sylvanians est vraiment super avec ses multiples pièces adaptées pour jouer avec ces petits personnages enfantins.Elle est intégralement en plastique mais les finitions sont bonnes, la solidité est là !Le principe d'une maison ouverte permet aux enfants de jouer avec facilité pour placer leur collection de petits personnages.Le détail est également présent, il est possible d'ouvrir les portes des différentes pièces, l'escalier peut être déplacé en fonction de l'endroit où on souhaite le placer. Tout comme la possibilité d'allumer les lumières de la maison (fonctionne sur pile, je vous conseille fortement d'acheter des piles rechargeables car un oubli de lumière et c'est vidage des pilles assuré).Cette maison peut également être connectée à d'autres éléments Sylvanians comme le cottage afin de créer une maison encore plus grande.Vous trouverez une communauté présente sur Internet pour les Sylvanians, nous avons pu par exemple trouver du papier peint à imprimer et à coller dans la maison afin de la décorer et la rendre encore plus réaliste. Le résultat est vraiment super.En résumé c'est vraiment un super jouet pour les enfants : pas d'électronique, personnages animaliers très bien détaillés, traditionnel dans le sens où ce jouet existe depuis plusieurs générations et qui fera totalement fonctionner l'imagination de vos enfants.
