GaN III. Desktop Charger - Powerful PD 265W
I was looking for something with capacity to charge multiple devices. Most particularly when traveling and staying in hotels. Traveling with multiple chargers can be cumbersome. So in-comes this Smeiwanr USC-C charger capable of 265w distribution across multiple PD ports. Keep in mind, it’s the total wattage of PD and limited to the designated per rated port PD, and combined is totaled 265w.The wall cord is not integrated and does disconnect from the charging unit. It disconnects and is a separate cord, which in itself is fantastic, as it provides a simple and easy stowing into a travel case or travel bag.The USB-C cable included is also not integrated and also an independent cable. It is braided and of ample length for easy stowing, with a rating at 100w, great for MacBook Pro or other laptop. I typically charge up at the same time, a laptop, a smartphone, a power bank, and an IPad.Overall, this unit is a great desktop charger. It does everything I need, while keeping my work space neat, and organized. I just bring with me the additional cables to PD to multiple devices. Clean sleek and dependable.

Expensive but UL listed , great charger
Very difficult to find UL listed chargers and this one is UL, so premium price is well deserved. Comes with 100w charging cable that’s braided. The power cable is 3 prong for additional protection. The adapter itself is 3.75 x 3.5 x 1.25 inch. Well made good quality , seems like metal not sure ! Is it 265w? The picture on the website showed 100w marking on each usb-c port but no such mark on the actual adapter! Nice that each port is capable of 100w on their own. The website also says if 8 ports in use , then it is 65,65,30,30,30,15,15,15 total 265. Have not tested it though to see if it can actually provide 265 total. In any case UL listed chargers are very very difficult to find , even Anker or the other brands like Ugreen do not have UL. Kudos to smeinwanr for getting this UL tested and certified. Yea a bit expensive but worth the buy and highly recommend.

High quality multi-port charger
This is a really good quality multi-port charger. With a combined 265w capacity, it will be able to charge most of your devices connected at once. I tested every port and they all worked and were able to fast charge my Ipad. It has a nice slim design that will likely fit in anywhere. This can replace a whole series of plug-in chargers that you might have, so if you have a charging station somewhere, use this instead of having to roll out a power strip with the little charger blocks. This charger is also UL listed too which means it hits a certain standard of quality. It's definitely pricey but this is one of the best chargers on the market.

I absolutely love this charger!
I love having so many ports and such high charging power with multiple items! I charge my ipad pro and iphone 15 pro together with no problems. GAN chargers do get hot, so I would make sure to make sure there's ventilation. It comes with a pretty long cord so makes it good for travel or do keep it up on your desk.

It's great! So much wattage you don't even have to think about it.
Their warning about how it can get noisy kinda scared me a little, not that the noise is an issue but I worried the noise correlated with other issues like being hot or being somewhat dangerous. So far it's been a great device, I haven't heard any noise and it hasn't gotten hot or been dangerous at all. I've had multiple devices plugged in at the same time with no issues, the thing I haven't had the chance to try was to plug in multiple power-hungry devices at the same time. Maybe then it would get noisy or hot.Other than that it's been great, charges everything as fast as each thing can take it.The cable it comes with is really nice, sturdy and braided, and on its own it would probably be on the expensive side, which I really appreciate.I also like that the power plug isn't huge so it doesn't block the adjacent outlets on a power bar, that is such a pain these days. The size is pretty perfect to be honest and the general look and finish is classic, inspires quality, and can fit honestly anywhere.I think the wattage is maybe a little overkill for my needs so if that's your case there might be better value options out there, you're paying extra for that feature here, but on the other hand it's pretty great to just be able to plug anything in and not even have to think about it. In that regard it's pretty future-proof too. It's really a great device.

A good-sized charger with multiple ports
I suppose this is what you would design if you were given the opportunity. A decent-sized charger (due to GaN), folding AC plug, multiple ports (2 USB-A and 2 USB-C). By the way, the title in the product page says "retractable", but it actually folds in, does not retract. And when it says "for travel use", it means you can fold the AC plug in for easier packing, it does not mean you can use it with different outlet types abroad. The edges of the AC plug is slightly rounded to prevent tearing things if packed for travel. It comes in a small box, just about the size of the charger + a little bit of extra height for the cable.Oh yes, it comes with a single USB-C to USB-C cable, which is understandable as most devices require a USB-C plug on their end, and as the more powerful output ports on this device are the USB-C ports. So if you want to charge a device that requires more power, such as your laptop (with a USB-C power plug), the cable that comes with is your natural choice. And the cable is nicely wound in a circle, not folded on the edges. Folding is not good for cables, especially for power cables. One thing that can be improved is the markings on the ports and the drawings on the product page. The markings indicate the USB-A1 and A2 as well as USB-C1 and C2, but since the C1 and C2 have different power ratings, you would have to remember them, and/or tell it to whomever might use the charger. It would have been better to put some indication of different power ratings for different ports. In addition, although the markings are indicated in the order of A1-A2-C1-C2, the "Power Distribution" figure shows them the other way around, with the C2 at the top and A1 at the bottom. Not a very important issue, but it might confuse the users.Another issue that you might have to be aware of is if your devices are good with high power charging. The USB-C ports have a power rating of 45W and 65W for a single connection. My iPad seemed to heat more than I am used to when I charged it with this. So while it seems nice to have a charger with higher power ratings, you might consider adapters with lower power for some small devices. Using the 65W port (even the 45W port) might be an overkill for some devices with small batteries.Overall a well designed and well performing charger.

Caricatore USB molto potente e versatile
