Got the job done.
Got the job done. Good heat gun.I used 3-4 heat setting to remove car insulator fabrics. Came off like butter.Probably used it for 4 to 5 hours. No issues whatsoever. Worked like it should.14 gauge extension cord.Don't be afraid to crank up the heat if you have to.Researched hard before purchasing. This was the cheapest best deal I found.I'm glad it pulled through for me when I needed it.Seems to be a well-built heat gun.ADHESIVE REMOVAL TIPS:(I was a little worried at first about making it too hot, so I stuck with using the lowest heat settings, so I was having a hard time removing the car insulator. I increased the heat, and it finally started coming off easily. Cutting down the time and workload immensely.)(This heat gun should have no problem removing anything stuck on by adhesives. It makes it very easy to remove things and should not require you to use much force at all. It loosens up the adhesive and makes it gooey, and whatever's on it can come right off. It's very useful and essential tool. If whatever's stuck on doesn't come off, you'll need to increase the heat. 3 - 4 heat setting seems to be good in removing car insulator material. 1 - 2 were completely ineffective for me.)(avoid excessive pressure/heat on car panels such as the roof, when heating. heat + pressure = dent/warpage)(avoid touching heated elements, scrapers, tools, and surfaces. I knew this, but I still managed to burn myself. The heat can get to you. You'll get unbearably hot and sweaty, and you may let go of your better judgement and go to remove the plastic razor blade from the metal scraper holder.)(Heat guns and scrapers won't be able to remove all the adhesives left on the surfaces, but that's where adhesive remover comes in.)

A good product that works as you would hope!
This gun works as nicely as you would hope. Of course it has a couple settings for wattage of heat and the knob on the back will adjust the airflow so you can create a wide range of temperature at each level. It stands upright on its back so you can hold your work with both hands. It comes with 2 nozzles so you can choose the concentration of the airflow to your project. There are also a couple of paint blades but I think a tried and true scraper in one hand and the heat gun in the other would work better. So far I have only used it to add rubber shrink tubing to some gooseneck microphones near their base where the flexibility had become weak. I occasionally buy artificial orchids and other flowers and will use the gun at a cooler level to warm the latex into original shape after they have been shipped.

Functional heating gun
Great product for the back yard mechanic, cost effective, easy to use and requires no special training to use. Excellent for solder splices and shrink tubing too…

Heat gun review
Good as advertised. Heats up quickly and attachments work well with gun

Worked well for light-weight work. Hi/Lo fan speed and variable heat level control a definite plus.
I used this for light-weight work (softening funny-pipe) and it worked well. I liked that this had settings for fan speed and heat control, since I've never used a heat gun, and it gave me some wiggle-room to learn. It included basic attachments, which made the pricing even more attractive.

Nice product
Works well but let it cool. Attachments could fit better to but overall a nice tool to have around especially for indoor paint removal. Does exactly what it says it does. Nice to experience a product that does what it says it does.

Very hot and effective
I purchased and used this heat gun to get a led strip off of my walls. Prior to using this the led strip was pulling up the paint. When I started using this I was able to get the led strip off much more easily. It gets very hot, very quickly. I only tried one of the nozzles so far, but it worked great.
