Great electric tea kettle! You will love it!
So happy with this electric kettle! We primarily use it to make iced tea. We bought it to replace a product exclusively meant for making iced tea that consistently failed after one year’s use. This takes far less space on our counter top, is attractive, easy to clean, and permits use of loose tea or tea bags with the included infuser. It heats quickly, signals when it has completed heating and can hold the temperature for 30 minutes with the keep warm button. It also features auto shut off and a feature that prevents boiling the kettle dry. Could not be more pleased!

Love it!
It's beautiful and made well. Large capacity and indicates near the buttons what temperature is best for specific teas and heats fast. I only wish it had an automatic timer to turn the pot on in the morning, but not a big enough deal to take away a star.

Great kettle
Very stylish looking kettle. Just press a button for the correct temperature for the tea you want to brew. Very quick to heat up. I will be leaving it on the counter because it is truly convenient when having to boil water when cooking different recipes.

Great value and easy on the eyes on your kitchen counter
I love the way this looks on my counter. I think it’s so pretty and classy. It works wonderfully. I use it almost every day and I definitely now drink more tea and dandelion tea and coffee because I use this more often than my coffee maker.

Nice kettle, works fast
Kettle works great! Boils water fast, variable temperature settings are a must have feature. Depending on your water quality, some hard water deposits do build up on occasion but one wash with vinegar and warm water cleans it out perfectly. All you have to do is add a cup of white vinegar and let it sit for 5 min or add a mix of one cup vinegar and one cup water and boil on lowest temp and the kettle looks new, wash with dish soap and water. If you want to neutralize the vinegar odor add baking soda to the vinegar as you're washing out the vinegar. The kettle does have one design flaw: bottom of kettle where the glass meets the base has a plastic or glue that starts to visibly deteriorate after 6 months. Communication with the company on the warranty first got a response that this product is out of warranty because the warranty is only a 6-month warranty. After messaging them through Amazon that it hasn't even been a year they agreed to replace it with a new one and they did. Responsive customer service. Warranty info is confusing, the company website under FAQ says "Every product comes with a warranty of 1 year. If you register your purchase, you will automatically extend your warranty for one additional year!" Yet, the packaging includes a flyer that would indicate a 6-month warranty because it says "Scan the QR to "Extend your warranty from 6-months to 1 year".

Why Use It For Just Tea?
I'm very happy with this product. It is nice looking, easy to clean, and can boil up to 6cups of water per pot. I chose the black with the coppery accents to go with the rest of my kitchen appliances, and to me, it looks very elegant. (Lol, I'm so fancy 🤭) My favorite feature of this product is the temperature selection for heating up your water. This feature gives you the opportunity to heat water to specific temps from 175° to boiling, which is handy when you have lighter teas and you don't want to burn your leaves, or you're trying to heat up a cup-o-noodle soup! Yes, I've used my kettle to fast boil water to pour into my cup-o-soup and it came out perfect👌🏽 I specifically enjoy using my kettle for more than just tea, as mentioned above. But if you are looking for a tea kettle just for tea, this is a kettle for you. If you like coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon, this is a kettle for you (there's a French Press setting, too!). Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Perfect product years ago; new units fail
This was supposed to be a 5-star review; I'm so bummed with our new purchase of this product we've loved for years. We bought one in Dec 2018 and fell in love with it. We gifted one to my in-laws in Dec 2019, and they've loved theirs too. I've often considered it one of our most reliable appliances in the kitchen, as it would get used MANY times a day for hot water - our most-used appliance after the fridge. We primarily used the lowest temp setting for water but have also made various types of tea at other settings. And the boil feature is so handy in the kitchen, especially since it boils water FAST. In Feb 2023, our Dec 2018 unit gave out - in a worrisome manner unfortunately. The rapid-boil is only supposed to boil briefly then shut off. I came into the kitchen after being away for 10-15 minutes and found it rapidly boiling, and I hadn't even used the boil setting earlier; I used it on the lowest tea setting. I guess something is now "stuck" about the settings, because it only boils now, and even if not turned on! Just plugging the unit in, and with no buttons pressed or illuminated, the kettle goes into a rapid-boil mode. And when turned on, for any temp setting, it doesn't matter - it's still just a persistent boil mode. So it's kept unplugged now, for safety concerns. Being over 4 years old with frequent use, I figured it just reached its end of life, and since we loved it so much, I immediately purchased the same item again. But it's not the same: Our 2018 and 2019 units were model KET-100, and that's the same model number now, but they've made some changes to the base and kettle (how they seat together), so I'm not sure why they keep the same model number; I find that misleading. In any case it's the KEEP WARM setting that does not work for us with the new units (we ordered two, thinking the first was defective, but both failed in the same way). Looks like many other reviewers have had trouble with the warm functionality too. BEHAVIOR OF OLDER UNITS: On our 2018 unit (and the 2019 one we gifted), you press desired temp button, then the keep-warm button, then the power button. It would flash the temp button while heating to the selected temp and stay there. As the temperature dropped over time, the temp button would start flashing again as it heated back up to that selected temp. Similarly, if we took the kettle off the base, added tap water, then returned it to the base, the temp button would flash until it heated back up to that setting, then it would continue keeping it warm at that temp (I think it was for an hour with that unit, not just 30 min; regardless, it was for a limited amount of time before shutting off for safety). PERFECT. BEHAVIOR OF 2023 UNITS: With the two new units we tried, they heat up to the selected temp as the button light flashes, as expected. Then the light changes to steady, as expected. But if you add tap water and return it to the base (even with only 10-15 seconds off base), the selected temp doesn't flash again, nor does the unit heat up to that setting again. Further, it makes an annoying clicking sound every 6-7 seconds from that point forward. The only way to get it back to the selected temp is to un-select and re-select the warm or preferred temp buttons. Thus, there's no "Keep" happening. I also just tried adding ice to the heated water, in case it just didn't like being removed from the base, but it still wouldn't heat back up. I would let the Keep Warm setting enabled for the rest of the 30 minutes and still have ice-cold water. Again, this was the behavior with two new units we bought back-to-back in Feb 2023. Maybe they changed something with the firmware recently? Whatever the case, I hope they change it back, because they messed with perfection! Also, the user manual says to press Keep Warm twice to enable and once to cancel. That doesn't align with the unit's behavior. Pressing the KW button just toggles on and off (once for on, twice for off). So I don't understand their statement to press it twice to enable it. I've tried various button combinations in case they adjusted the sequence or something with the newer units, but no luck. TO RECAP: Two perfect units in 2018 and 2019. Two problem units in 2023 - the Keep Warm functionality of the new units didn't work, and both would instead just make a clicking sound every 6-7 seconds while not performing. This would be 1-star rating now, if not for the high reliability of the 2018 and 2019 units we bought and the other features not discussed here (ease of cleaning, ease of removing infuser when not in use, etc.). If the functionality were fixed, this would be an immediate 5-star unit for us again. I'm bummed to have to consider a different model now, but we're on the hunt for one while these latest two new units are being returned.

If allowed to sit the tea can get to strong if you don't remove the bag

It does say 120V in the info but not always noticed as why would we on Amazon.co.uk most would assume all electrical items sold by amazon in the UK would be 230V. If it said that at the top " Not Suitable for UK Power supply" i would not have bought it!

Shouldn't sell this kettle to places that don't have 110v mains. It's dangerous

WASTE OF MONEY, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I purchased this item last year for $100, and always washed it by hand. The plastic piece on top is just glued together and overtime doesn't have a good seal. Water gets inside and molds with no way to clean it. I reached out to the company to see if I could purchase a replacement piece as the kettle works perfectly and you'd expect more than a year of use from it. They do not want to replace it or let me buy a new part! They want me to buy a whole new kettle which is now $250. You'd think with the increased profit margin they could afford to replace a small plastic part. Not impressed.
