Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2, White and Black (4-Pack)

The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 turned out to be one of the best-value gadgets we bought before our trip to America. Setup was quick and simple, and the peace of mind they provided while travelling was brilliant. We used them in our luggage and backpacks, and being able to check exactly where our bags were at airports and hotels was incredibly reassuring. The tracking was accurate, battery life has been excellent so far, and the build quality feels really solid. For the price, they offer fantastic functionality and are a great alternative to more expensive trackers. After using them on a big trip abroad, I honestly wouldn’t travel without them now. Highly recommended for frequent travellers or anyone who wants to keep track of valuables with minimal hassle.

I've started putting these on/in everything that I may lose, such as bags, keys, etc. They're easy to use, just use the 'SmartThings' app on your phone and add the tag, following the instructions on your phone screen. On our last holiday, we lost a bag, but managed to find it again using the tag that was in it, so they work really well. They connect via Bluetooth to any nearby compatible phones, and the phone reports back to Samsung where the tag is, so you can find where it is within a few metres distance. When you get close enough so that the phone can connect to the tag, you just tell the phone app to make the tag make a noise, to help find it.

After using the tags for a few weeks now I think they're a good investment if you want to help find your belongings if you've misplaced them somewhere. Not to say they're perfect but it works well to some extent. These tags don't work on GPS but rather with the help of other Samsung phone users who are passing by if you're not within the recommended distance to pair with the tag. Upon testing, I've managed to locate my keys with the help of other Samsung phone users so it does work but I guess you're rather hoping there are other Samsung phone users in the area. Using the Smart things app on the phone it gives you directions. The tag has a button that can be used to ring your smartphone however I have the Samsung Galaxy smartwatch 5 pro which does the same. I wish the pack came in 4 black tags rather than 2 black 2 white as the white tags get really dirty quickly. One negative I'd say is that when you're trying to ring the tag to help you find it, the audible sound isn't particularly loud and could be quite difficult to hear when you're out in public. As a safety measure, would I recommend these tags? Probably yes, as it does give you a chance to help find your belongings.

Highly recommend these overall. They’re really useful for tracking important items, easy to set up, and having a 4-pack gives you plenty of options. I’ve found them very handy to have and, for me, they’ve still been better than AirTags. The only slight downside is that updates can sometimes be a bit less reliable or slower than I’d like, which can be a little disappointing. I think that can make a difference depending on what devices are around. Even so, they’ve still worked well enough for what I need, so I’m happy to give them 5 stars.

Arrived in good time. Downloaded the Smarthings app and added all of the 4 tags. Two were attached to hand luggage and two were attached to large travel cases. On arrival the 2 larger pieces were not visible. This I believe was mainly due to a holdup with the unloading of the aircraft. Eventually after a period of about 45 minutes they became visible. They were also visible by a family member who was " Invited" to track my smarttag2 . I should also add that I was able to locate my 4 tags whilst sitting on the aircraft awaiting clearance for departure. Very satisfied with there performance.

I am changing this review to 5 stars as I started getting location data from other Galaxy phones when my cats are out of the Bluetooth range. I bought a pack of 4 of these tags and put 2 onto my 2 cats. Now they both seem to be working fine. Good value, excellent price. No need to charge the battery every other day like in gps tracking devices. Obviously less reliable (relies on other samsung galaxy devices to update location on map) but because of the very cheap price and long lasting battery, and small size I will give 5 stars ***** The tag works in 2 different ways 1. Within bloototh range you can ring the tag from your mobile phone so you can find it easily. The Bluetooth range was c. 13 metres for me, not 120 metres though. 2. If out of range, other passing Galaxy devices will update the location for you on the map. It doesn't happen every minute, but you can get quite a few updates several times a day (or maybe within an hour) so you can find your missing cat. You need to download SmartThings app onto your Gaalxy phone and you can control the Tag from there and see the last location on map. There is also a location history. I bought 2 silicone cases for less than £3 from amazon which go on the collar of the cat. That's great, as the Tag shouldn't be hanging off. It also looks better with the case and more comfy for the cat.

The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is absolutely brilliant. It’s compact, lightweight, and highly reliable. I’ve attached it to my keys, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing I can easily track them if misplaced. The setup was seamless with the SmartThings app, and the range is impressive. It works perfectly with my Samsung phone, and the sound alert is loud enough to hear even when the tag is buried in a bag or under a cushion. The design has also been improved, is durable, and is water-resistant, which makes it great for everyday use. Battery life is excellent so far, and it’s reassuring to know it will last a long time before needing a replacement. Overall, this is a fantastic little device that does exactly what it promises. It is highly recommended to keep track of your belongings without fuss.

Like these tags. Good location finding feature with Samsung and I really like that you can set the button that of pressed will alert your phone. Great for kids.

A differenza dei modelli precedenti o dei competitor, l'anello rinforzato in metallo permette di agganciarli direttamente a portachiavi o zaini senza dover acquistare custodie extra. La certificazione IP67 è una garanzia: resistono a polvere e immersioni accidentali, rendendoli perfetti anche per essere attaccati al collare degli animali domestici. 📡 Prestazioni e Tecnologia Il vero punto di forza è l'integrazione della tecnologia UWB (Ultra-Wideband) unita al Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Se possedete un dispositivo Samsung recente non esiste un tracker migliore sul mercato.

Die Tags arbeiten absolut zuverlässig und die Erkennung war kinderleicht. Etwas teurer als manche "Nachbauten" aber der Mehrpreis ist absolut gerechtfertigt

Muito bom!! Dá um pouco de trabalho para configurar em vários aparelhos, mas se for em apenas 1, é bem tranquilo.
