Good quality
The keyboard fit my iPad mini perfectly and works great. I love it that you can change the keyboard to different colors.

Nice keyboard
This keyboard is very small and my hands are often cramped while using it, but i knew it was small when i bought it. It does have a backlight which is very nice, and i have not had any issues with it. It is highly transportable with the ipad, so if you are on the go a lot it will work well for you. It is also lightweight. If you have large hands it probably is not for you unless you are a two finger typist.

Maybe I should have bought a bigger iPad
First, I use my iPad almost exclusively for reading kindle books on airplanes. Most months I don't use it for anything except possibly browsing Amazon while I watch TV. This last vacation I got this wild idea that I wanted to write while I was on the plane instead of reading. Yeah, I don't know why either! So I ordered this because I really convinced myself that I was going to write on the plane, LOL. As if!Moving on to the complaints! It is very difficult to remove the pencil. So much so that I dropped my apple pencil during a flight and had to wait for everyone to de-board the plane before I could find it. When that happened, I think Florida got farther away because I was anxious for what felt like hours about losing this stupid pencil. As I suspected: I did almost zero writing on any plane during the entire trip. Because it was a dumb idea that even I knew I wouldn't do. The keyboard is a bit different but I don't think it's difficult to operate or get used to. I do have small hands, though.I used the keyboard exclusively to message with friends. Because unlike a Gen Z I can type on a keyboard WAY faster than on a phone. Even a tiny keyboard as it turns out! But even if I had seriously done some writing while on the plane, I don't think it would be good for more than casual messaging. My friends don't care about typos as much as the rest of the internet. What really prompted me to return this item was the case. It's made from a cheap looking shiny plastic that I can't describe. It's like the thin plastic that covers cardboard and eventually splits open. The keyboard has to go in just right for it to close. When you open it, the keyboard can fall out. While it's an okay typing setup, you can't comfortably use the iPad in another way (like for reading) because the case and keyboard are so clunky.I also noticed all the fancy people with the iPad pros that had apple keyboards that basically turned the whole thing into a laptop. I don't really understand why that would be more convenient than a laptop myself... but it looks like everyone I saw was using them exclusively for emails. I'd say overall that if you want to seriously type on your iPad you should buy the whole apple setup. If you just want to casually type this works if you can handle the case being so inconvenient and do not have the pencil. For casual messaging, it's just way easier to use your phone. My iPad remains nothing more than a glorified kindle. I think I've made peace with that now.
