Amazing camera cube
This is a great camera cube. Definitely an upgrade from the V1. If you’re on the fence, and can afford the v2, get it. The v1 is great but this is amazing and smaller to pack while also having more volume and the protection from water.

V2 are smaller than V1
Unfortunately, as some people have already noted in here, the V2 cubes are smaller than their V1 counterpart. I ordered a medium V2, and when stacked next to my medium V1, it is very clear that the V2 is smaller. I tried to fit all my items from my V1 into the V2 and could not.. So buyer beware, if you have V1 cubes, do not expect the V2 version to be the same size. It's too bad because I liked the feature updates on the V2 such as the rimless edges, but simply cannot take advantage of it because of the smaller size and my existing gear won't fit into the V2.

Great cube, just not right for me.
I was on the fence as to whether to get a larger cube like this or a dedicated photography backpack. In the end, I ended up sending the Cube back. It wasn’t quite as large as I’d hoped it would be, and I couldn’t figure out a good way to lash additional accessories to it. I now have the 30 L every day backpack and it seems more appropriate for my needs. That said, the camera cube is a lot more affordable. If I wasn’t packing around a tripod and a gimbal all the time I probably would’ve stuck with the cube.

Almost perfect
I’m surprised this is a v2 and there is no way to secure the unzipped flap open. It doesn’t feel like it was designed to flip over even though I know it was

The V2 cubes are smaller than V1!
With all the hype, Peak Design omitted mentioning that the V2 Camera Cube weight reduction is caused by a drastic reduction in size! I had V1 Small and Medium cubes and the V2 Small and Medium I just ordered both fail to accommodate my prior setup. The V1 Small cube held my Canon R5 with the 100-500 lens, the V2 cannot. The V1 Medium could fit the Canon R5 with a grip and 100-500 lens attached while allowing for other zoom lenses to be laid horizontal on each side of the 100-500, the V2 will not. In addition the V2 cubes are not as tall and a camera on its side sticks out more than it did in V1. All corner space is wasted and the V2 cubes taper downwards instead of having vertical walls. Extremely disappointed as I had just bought a second (!) 45L Travel Backpack for this.

Does not work with gripped cameras
Purchased this for a Nikon Z9 and was pretty disappointed that it does not fit a Z9 which is going to be a smaller gripped camera. Can’t see this working with any gripped camera. Picked up the V1 which works just fine.

V2 camera cube
This is the medium v2 camera cube, as there is another medium camera cube available, but that is the v1. The v2 is thinner than the v1, so it seems like you would have more room - however, it’s 2cm less in height. So where my Nikon z7 fit perfectly in the v1, in the v2 it’s slightly too tall - you can still close the cover, but you see a bulge from the eye piece. The other issue is the side access doors - these are too small to allow the z7 to be passed through, and I am sure my old Sony a7r would have been a bit of a struggle to get into this narrow access. The sides also taper down to the bottom, meaning you have less room at the bottom compared to the top.Aside from these issues, the bag is well built and ideal for the peak design travel backpacks. I would not recommend this if you want a dedicated camera bag - there are better alternatives. However, for travelling, especially with a Peak Design bag, they do make sense.

Excellent toiletry travel case.
I bought this to store my toiletries when I travel. As someone with lots of skincare items, this cube is extremely spacious (no more trying to jigsaw my things into multiple tiny pouches!) AND it's padded. The felt dividers are really useful too! This just made my packing process so much easier.
