Are these mugs machine washable? Could you serve hot drinks in them?

hey are not machine washable - you use warm soapy water - and warm drinks would be OK, but not boiled drinks like tea or coffee - they are meant for beer / mead.

Hi. I am really happy with the finish of the tankard but I can not get rid of the rotten smell from inside. Any advise please?

Don't know if it will help, because I didn't notice a smell but then again we did this straight away. It is traditional to break in any tankard with a spirit, usually vodka, and swill it all the way round the inside. Happy drinking!
