Biona Organic Maple Syrup Waffles 175g (Pack of 12)

Sweet but not too sweet. Great snack for coffee. Vegan!

Please don't be put off by the other reviewer who is obviously on a crusade against sugar. These waffles are very tasty and actually not very sweet. They are a bit tough though, so it's best to enjoy them "like the Belgians do" : Just prepare yourself a cup of tea or coffee and cover your cup with the waffle. After a couple of minutes the waffle will be ready to enjoy :)

Very nice with ice cream.

I saw these maple waffles and got very excited as I love maplye syrup. These are ok but they just taste like normal syrup waffles, I can't taste a hint of maple. Disappointing.

Am dissapointed to see corn syrup on the ingredient list; I am surprised of Biona.I but a lot of Biona products but I don't think it's right to claim no added sugar and the agricultural provenance they do only to have (correct me if I am wrong)corn syrup (one of the sixty or so names for sugar), an industrially derived extract from corn/maize which is 'sugar' in the chemical sense. It is certainly not 'natural'.I have read alot about hidden sugar (s) recently and am always ready to be reassured if I am wrong.
