They are exactly as advertized "mini" very small. Great for younger kids, not so much for me. Functions well. I got it for travel, but its small and hard for me to use. They heated up fine, just too small and uncomfortable to use, for me. I sent it back.

Purchased before a work trip to Europe. Allowed me to travel lighter. My hair is below my shoulders, thick and wavy. I dried it out with a hair driver and a brush and then used the mini flatiron to straighten. It worked great but took about 10 minutes more than my normal routine because it's smaller. Easy to hold and use. I love the wider plates. It worked great in the US and in Europe. Dual voltage a huge plus!
