ALL DOGS SHOULD BE BLESSED WITH THIS PRODUCT! Makes life so much easier, Please buy
I have a 47lb heeler mix I adopted In March who I bring with nearly every time I leave the house for something. Having never previously owned my OWN dog, nor heard anything about dog seatbelts, I didn’t think too much into the caution aspect of letting him ride with me every chance I could. One day id drove about 35 min to a friends, highway and all, and once I entered the neighborhood cruising at a low speed, two little kids bolted out in front of my car causing me to hit my breaks and My dog hit the dash. (Everyone was okay) thankfully I was in a neighborhood going at or below the speed limit, yet with those factors alone, that showed me truly how fragile/exposed dogs are in cars. If he smacked the dash going 15mph or under, I’d hate to see the effect of anything above that. This product was super cheap for both a harness and a seatbelt so I had my suspicions but tried it anyway. Thank god I did, It’s been so helpful for us both! He’s always loved going on rides and with this product I truly feel he enjoys rides even more as he feels more secure and isn’t being slung around at every turn. The harnesses are very durable and comfortable, only reason I have two is for convenience sake. It’s so perfect how you can just keep the seatbelt snapped in your car with the clip attached to the harness, clip a leash on the same loops while he’s strapped in, then release the seatbelt clip and bam you’re ready to get out and go! He gets excited putting on the harness and attaching the seatbelt. He knows buckling up is just part of the ride process. Harnesses are perfect for everyday use as well. Since then he’s become my service dog, I talk this product up so much, can’t imagine life for us without it.PROS: dogs safe. You’re a safer driver without a dog climbing around you and your car. Drive throughs are so much easier. Perfect for when we’ve been guests in other people’s cars, it stills him. Hit your breaks, take those sharp turns, etc. your dogs not going anywhere. Adjustable to perfect sizing of dog and car. Universal for all seat belt clips. Reliable sturdy belt and harness for all kinds of use. ITS SO CHEAP, do not be fooled into buying other expensive options, shoot I’d pay $50 for this one over and over to be honest.CONS: no downsides honestly. I guess the only con would be this product not being advertised at every shelter and pet store.

Sturdy and a Good Value!
My breeder actually recommended this product to me. My dog rides in the back seat, which I have covered with a "dog blanket" that has slits for seat belts. The Slowton dog harness comes with a short seat belt attachment that fits my car seat belt receptacles and keeps my dog from leaving the back seat (just make sure it clicks when you insert it into your car's seat belt receptacle). The harness itself is great, too. It's made of sturdy material and is adjustable for size. Size small fit my puppy when he was 20 pounds, and remarkably still fits him now, two months and an extra 15 pounds later (he now weighs 35! Puppies grow fast). I bought the "mesh" version but still worried that the harness was a bit hot for him when the temperature was in the nineties, so I didn't use it for dog walking when it was super hot out (though I still used it in my air-conditioned car). But now that it's not above 80 degrees outside, I prefer to walk him with the harness, because most vets and dog books recommend harnesses for walking. It's preferable to attaching a leash to a dog's collar, which can subject its neck to too much pressure if it ever strains at the leash, or jumps/lunges. I plan to order a size medium Slowton harness soon, to have it on hand when my pup finally outgrows size small. Last thing, you can't beat the price on this harness, as it's good quality, does what it's supposed to do, plus comes with the seatbelt attachment. I would recommend it to everyone. However-- don't leave your dog unattended when wearing it. Once, I unavoidably left my pup in the car for 15 minutes, and he apparently struggled and managed to squeeze part way out of the harness (he hates being left alone). I then realized I'd had it on him too loose. Aim to just be able to squeeze two of your fingers under it-- the same as it's advised to do with a collar. Note-- this has never happened when walking him. Even though still he often pulls and jumps on walks, his harness has stayed securely on him. Just always make sure the buckles always "click" into place when you put it on your dog. (The buckles are made of a type of sturdy plastic that seems similar to the kind used in children's car seats and strollers, and they're very easy to operate.)

It fits well and easy to adjust
I’m happy with this harness for the car. Made very well, easy to put on and take off and adjustMy only wish is a system that would prevent yo doggies from getting tangled. Even when the attachment system is shortened, my dog steps over it and gets wrappedNot dangerous just annoying

Perfect solution.
I got this last week for my little JR girl. I measured her first. I would highly recommend that. The fit was a bit big/loose but then we adjusted it. She is getting used to the idea that it's going to go over her head, then the latch part. I really like the broad straps and the soft front and two places to hook the leash for when we go on walks. Today was our first car trip so off we went to curbside pick up groceries. It was fantastic. She can put her head out the window on her side and I'm not afraid she'll fall out or jump out. She can get down to the floor, back in the seat, she can even come over and sit in my lap without me having to hold on to her. So the final outcome was just perfect. Previously I would only let the window down half way, now I can put the window down all the way, so she can get a good look around. Also the structure of the harness really does work well, on our normal walks we sometimes see a neighbor who has unruly dogs so I have to have good control of her (she's ready to duke it out) and this harness gives me complete control without choking her at all. This is the best harness we've ever used and the seat belt part just makes it worth 6 stars in our book. We will be recommending to everyone we know.

Perfect fit! Dog loves it!
My dog always gives me a sad look when I hop into my convertible and put the top down. He loves rides. I have always been afraid he’d jump out. I bought this and now my dog is enjoying rides with the top down. It keeps him safe in place with no chance of jumping out. Great fit! Easy to out on.

Good buy
I really love the harness and it was a good purchase overall. However the clip that attaches to the harness does not feel as sturdy as I’d like. The harness itself is great and is very comfortable for my pup. But I did end up buying a more secure and heavy duty seatbelt clip for her. She sticks her head out the window to enjoy her rides and I just can’t risk it! We do use the seatbelt in my husbands car as a back up for quick trips. I’d recommend it still, especially if your pup doesn’t care for the window much.

My mini dog has a chest birth size of about 36cm. So I ordered according to the table provided (XS size) and it fits perfectly.

Not an XXS...
Nice quality but definitely not an XXS and will not fit a teacup Chihuahua. It's says on the label it is... but it isn't. It slips straight off and is oversized.
