Better strings for your uke!
Had always used Aquila strings on my concert uke as they seem to be universally acknowledged as the only ones to have! However, on searching the store to order a new set I read the blurb about d'dadario titanium strings and risked buying a set! They are transparent with a slightly purple hue and look very smart. The G in the set I received was long enough to install with enough spare to provide a replacement, don't know if this is intentional but it's a welcome bonus as it always seems to be the G that breaks first! The tension across the strings seems even but slightly tighter than Aquilas preventing unwanted string bending when fretting chords. The tone is distinctly bright with increased sustain producing a very pleasing tone, especially if you use a finger picking style, which as a guitarist, I do.This clearer, sharper sound delivers credibility to the instrument as a serious one and not a plinky plonky comedy tool!Consequently I have been encouraged to play my uke much more and that has to be good.

Really good - not a single string has broken in the last 3 months of heavy daily use.
I have used D'Addario strings now on half of my Ukulele's and they are really comfortable. Compared to the traditional Aquila Nylgut options these are thinner, less 'sticky' and improve resonance. These are the 'titanium' strings - that does not mean metal strings, only a monofilament wire inside the nylon sheath. They are almost translucent in colour with a fine almost metal core that is barely visible.I suppose that makes them resonate better, but for me it allows a thinner gauge which I prefer and a 'scratchier' sound for my blues recordings. I usually prefer fluorocarbon strings for general use, and these for blues/rockabilly sound. The titaniums are noticeably thinner and louder than Nylgut and Fluorocarbons and have a texture to them that really gives a more metallic edge to the sound. I have D'Addario's fitted to my KoAloha, Tanglewood, and Luna models and prefer these to anything else I have tried.I recommend as they come packed with a 'freshness' bag, colour coded strings, plenty of length, and the gauges written on the pack so you can easily replace. Not a single string has broken in the last 3 months of heavy daily use.

Good sounding and hard wearing baritone strings
I've been using these strings on my baritone for about a year. I play it a lot so they have lasted much longer than the Aquilla set they replaced. The sound is bright, clean and with good tone. My only gripes (which have stopped me giving 5 stars) is that they need retuning every time I play and I'm not mad about the clear purple colour of the two top strings. The bottom two are wire wound so are a white colour. I would definitely buy D'Addiario again if going for wire wound strings as other makes wear badly very quickly so need constantly replacing. I've just bought an electric baritone and am thinking about whether to try non-wound strings because of the tuning issue with these ones.

The Strings are not Ball ended
If you buy these strings you will have to tie the ends, if you haven't done this before, there are loads of videos on line, and it's quite easy. Once they are on and tuned they sound good, quite like the four high strings of a parlour size guitar, but since two of the strings are not wound or wire they have a classical guitar sound.I have had mine on for about three weeks and I play every day, and I am still having to tension them up each time I play but I am sure they will settle, but be mindful that when you are stringing the Ukulele don't leave too much slack on the strings, so that the winding peg is not overloaded, since you will be tensioning them for quite some time.

Good sound. Wound string wears quickly
Like the sound and the feel. Wound string wears out far too quickly.

Great sound!
My low G that came with my new uke snapped at the second fret after 2 months use. Replaced the low G and it sounds better than the string I replaced.
