Buyt it, larger viewing area and great product!
The clamp, range of motion, optional light choices is fine as expected. The viewing area is large, clear, and magnifies better than compared with others. This is my 2nd purchase. The first purchase was from a different company and the viewing area was smaller than this one and not as clear and the wire overheated. Within 6 months, the lights on the first purchase stopped working.

Quality

Very Good but will have a limited life
LED's are great but they don't last forever. No one ever seems to mention this and the lack of being able to replace lights that eventually go out. This lamp is a throwaway once the lights burn out as there are no serviceable parts. I hate the idea of things that can't be maintained/repaired. Just remember to turn off the lamp when not in use. There are multiple brightness settings but the brightest setting is still not quite bright enough. Magnification is good. It is sturdy and the clamping mechanism is solid plus the lamp stays in position. I'm not sure if this lamp will last a year or 3 years but it's a throwaway once it fails.

Pieces broken in box and No Power! sent back. Now I'm gonna wait before trying again!

Everything advertised was correct I love it.
My Dad does these complex crossword puzzles and he can see well and was using lamps and magnifying glass to do but to hard to write and look threw magnifying glass at same time . He is also using ruler. So now he has great light with options and the 10 x 5 inch lense is perfect . Stays put with spring arm And the cost is unbelievableOthers that are similar and well made like this can cost $200 and up.

I can See!
This magnified light is a blessing. It has made sewing so much easier. I can actually see the stitching, with different lighting options is an extra plus very easy to put together. I haven’t had any problems with it.

Surprised it wasn’t a bit brighter
Otherwise I love it! This is a great addition to the craft table I share with kiddos who love to use the magnification!
