It has an adhesive that holds it to the inside of the plastic cover and left enough room for my mirror. **Q: Is it easy to remove ?** A: I sure hope not. If you do want to remove it, park in the sun to warm it up. You'll probably also need some Goo Gone. **Q: I have my filter set for a Silverado 2500. They look great! BUT… no matter what you try, they will not stay on. I eventually had the thought, even if I do get them to stick for now, what happens the first time someone accidentally bumps it OR if gosh forbid I go through a car wash?! Instantly gone. The build is perfect with the exception of how they are installed. If they had a different installation method, they’d be perfect. Something non-adhesive based perhaps. I work in a middle school. In the warmer months nearly every morning I come into the classroom at least some of the posters are either totally off the walls or partially off. I use a variety of adhesives. Some the best on the market without causing too much damage when removed. Still, a little change in temp and all the stars in the world won’t keep those posters adhered. Back to the drawing board on this one.
