MUST BUY . Totally removes pain and discomfort , replenishes the GAG layer
After 4 years with IC (didn’t even know I had it) I found aloe Vera from and Deseret harvest and I can honestly say I’m feeling 85% normal compared to 20% when I had pain and discomfort from IC , as long as I keep taking them I get better by the day , I tried a bunch of other stuff but aloe Vera from Deseret is the only one that works , you still need to follow the IC diet tho , if I take coffee I’ll be in a flare for about a day and a half with aloe Vera and liquor too , it’ll greatly reduce the pain if you eat trigger foods so you can still enjoy most things but the main ones you really need to avoid them as much as possible so you don’t have your bladder in constant inflammation, some people only take 3-6 a day and they feel great but if you have severe IC like me I need 24 a day , 6 every 4 hours . Sometimes 30 . It sounds like a lot and it is but for some people that’s just how it is , maybe after a few months you can take less but for now you might need 24 a day if 12-18 isn’t working , I tried 4 pills every 4 hours and it wasn’t enough , 6 every 4 hours is what some of you might need . It’s pricey but it’s the only thing that works for me , if your going to take a trigger food like coffe or liquor take 1-2 prerelief immediately and 4-6 aloe Vera pills and it should greatly reduce your flare (should go away quick with lingering effects 12-36 hours) . Drink enough water with the aloe Vera and other foods throughout the day . I take quercetin 500mg once in morning and once in afternoon but I’m gonna stop soon because it can cause kidney damage , you might need to take it for a month or 2 and then try to stop taking it and check your kidney health by a doctor . Also carbonated drinks put me in a flare too. Check everything that puts you in a flare and avoid it as much as possible and you’ll get better by the day , after a few months you should be feeling full effects some people maybe 6 months but for now this is the only thing that works for me , so don’t quit if you feel 18 pills isn’t working for you . Also don’t take prereilf all the time it’s bad for ur stomach only take it when you need it , I take it maybe twice a week or 3 times

WORKS for pain when nothing else does!!!!
I have IC for over 28 years- and this product was the ONLY thing that actually treats the horrible relentless pain I have suffered for decades! It’s really expensive, but I can often get by with less. I have tried dozens of therapies and had pretty much given up. The stuff is even natural! I would give this 6 stars if I could. Sceptics give it a try-what have you got to lose. You don’t even have to bother getting prescription-save a few doctors visits.I would gladly contribute a bottle for those is need though (knowing how horrible this pain can be). I will write to the company to suggest a fund or coupon for pain sufferers I am so sorry that the US doesn’t have universal healthcare, since I feel for those of you struggling to pay medical bills. In the scheme of things, though, the DH aloe is a relatively small price to pay. Best of luck to everyone in such pain.

A lifesaver!
I've been using Desert Harvest Aloe Vera for several years and wouldn't want to be without it. I've been dealing with IC for over 10 years and this is the only thing that works. It is pricey, granted, but it's worth not being in pain. It controls the pain, discomfort and urgency for me. I also take Prelief with every meal. I have found that I can get by several days on about 4 or 5 capsules but I wind up going back to 3 capsules in the morning and 3 at night. So, that's my dose.I had tried, the usual doctor regiment of amitriptyline, bladder instills, antihistamines, and lidociane, and they didn't work. This aloe vera gave me my life back. I am 95% symptom free most days. I still have to be careful as to what I eat, but I can eat a lot more foods that I couldn't eat before.

My experiences with IC and Aloe Vera, plus some other things.
I have severe IC among many other chronic inflammatory conditions in my body - and I mean many. I will mention that I have chronic GERD and Gastritis and this product does not cause me any stomach pain or *significant* nausea, it makes me as nauseated as light foods. As far as the price goes, I would really like to take more than 4 capsules per day, but due to how very costly it is I really cannot afford more than that. The price is incredibly expensive for people who are disabled and live in poverty like I do, but I make do. I take 4 per day because when I've tried taking less than that in the past, it made me start feeling a lot worse and I simply couldn't tolerate it, so with 4 as my minimum, it's what I take and get by on, but if I could afford more I'm sure it could treat my condition a lot better than it does currently. To be clear, I rated it 4 stars rather than 5 simply because of how expensive it is. Price aside, it is even beyond the quality of a 5 star product. So, my IC condition has been to the point of severe pain for years and has reached the point where I haven't been able to even physically sit up in a chair, bend my body, or put any kind of slight pressure on the area for over a year, lest it cause a flare-up that will last me several days. My primary symptom is simply the excruciating and agonizing PAIN that leaves me writhing in bed, unlike some who might experience a worse issue with incontinence. I do have those issues too, and I would consider it major, but definitely less severe than the pain I have, so let me discuss both and a little more of my history with this disease...So, first off the bat when I was finally diagnosed by my Urologist (after going to SO MANY doctors...) he prescribed me Myrbetriq for urinary frequency/urgency, Elmiron for repairing the bladder's lining (like this product also is meant to do) and Norco to help with the pain. First off, Norco does very little for me compared to anti-inflammatories for me, and my pain management doctor has me now on both pain medication and multiple powerful anti-inflammatory medications which have honestly helped not just other bodily inflammation go down, but also my IC pain which has gone down immensely from them alone and it's something I recommend to at least try to see if it helps you since we are all different. Myrbetriq helped me greatly with the side effect of increased moderate urinary retention, but I still found it incredibly worth it. However, insurance wasn't covering $80 of it and I simply could not afford that along with having to also pay $110 for Elmiron and then $80 monthly for this when I started using this - but I'll get to that later. So, first off though, I did take both prescriptions that first month - Myrbetriq and Elmiron. My IC over the past few years, although not diagnosed until this year, has consistently been growing increasingly more and more severe the entire time. I took the Elmiron for one month and by the end of that month I was still in increasingly more severe pain than at the start of it. I knew it would take 'up to 3 months' before I started feeling effects, but my doctor said I'm still not supposed to be getting worse and so he decided it was not the right option for me, not that I could afford it anyway. On top of that, as per its wonderful side effects, my hair started falling out after the first week of taking it - because I've always dreamed of being a woman with a bald spot at the age of 20 - and I developed a SEVERE sensitivity to sunlight to where I could not have any of my skin exposed to it whatsoever without suffering burns. The sun sensitivity remained with me for over a month after discontinued use.Despite those failures and my doctor's lack of help beyond prescriptions, I did great amounts of research on how to manage this disease when I was diagnosed, and came across this product since it seemed to receive much praise online and seemed to be the closest thing to a 'cure' along with careful dietary measures and other such care for yourself. So, after the failure with Elmiron, I decided to try this out next. I believe everyone is different and not everyone may receive such instant results, but I honestly felt immediate relief upon the first dose I tried of only 3 capsules - and I instantly wanted more. That is what sealed me in as a customer and it was instant. Since then, I have been taking it for 3 months, and while I still cannot physically sit up, I am getting closer and closer to that point everyday. While I still suffer from urinary incontinence and frequency, it has improved so drastically I no longer feel it's necessary to pay for an $80 monthly medication for it and I no longer consider those particular symptoms to be causing me to suffer like they once did. Pain from flare-ups still hurts like a $@!#%, but they now last noticeably shorter than they used to (in my case, for example, consuming onions now leaves me writhing for one week instead of two). The chronic pain may still be severe, but it is now honestly a fraction of what it once was - even when controlled on pain killers/anti-inflammatories - and I now feel like I'm gradually getting better each day instead of worse like it used to be for so many years... and it feels great. I could never imagine going back to the life I had before I started taking this product... It may be expensive, but even a disabled person sharing $500 per month of income with her disabled mom puts the money aside for this, so I hope that gives you an idea just how much it's helped me and means to me. Maybe it won't give you results like mine, but it seems like the majority who try it do well with it, so I think it's worth the shot for what it has to offer. Also, remember to take care of your body in other ways too, it's not just about supplements or medications; watch what you eat and don't be too rough with your body.To whoever may be reading this, I wish you the best of health and luck on finding what works best for you when it comes to this horrible and mysterious disease.
