Petnap cover for Flexiguard 55 Metal chew proof electric Cat Dog heat pad mat 55cm x 44cm (SPARE COVER ONLY)

Bought for my older dog he's always been used to sleeping outside well when I say outside I mean in his kennel in the workshop with his own little door for garden access! He always seems to be cosy enough but we felt with him being older now a wee bit of heat uner his hairy butt would be a bonus the pad won't feel roasting well its not meant to cook the dog just maintaine body heat which it does very well you need to switch it on about an hour before hand and would defiantly recommend this product but sadly for our dog ( think its an age thing he's nearly 11 ) he won't lie on it for long it's very hard you can put a little blanket over the top of it but even then I think he found it uncomfortable but if you were to buy it for your dog from the word go I'm sure they'd be fine with it! It's only suitable for small dogs tbh ours is a Parsons Jack Russell and he's off both ends but his main body was on the pad! If it was a flexiable pad I think he'd never be off it lol

The product is well made and robust, but just did provide enough warmth and heat up sufficiently, given this was going to be used in the winter months in a kennel I don't believe it was suitable.

Easy to use bit pricey, wouldn't buy again
