Compact yet effective
Great product in a small space. Works just as well as full round ones with taking up as much room, and makes it look better. Easily modified to take airstones but you need pretty small airstones to fit inside the inner chamber.

Great filter
I've had this for a few months and am very pleased with it. It works great in my 5.5 gallon planted betta tank. I like how it fits into a corner. I was able to fit an airstone in with very minimal modification. Even with reducing the airflow for my betta it has great suction and picks up debris very well. It is super easy to clean. My betta actually spends a lot of time hanging out right next to it and surfing the current. Will definitely buy again.

Good budget filter for nano tanks
Does it's job just fine. Sometimes I worry about shrimp getting wedged between the glass and filter so I don't really find myself getting it perfectly lined up in the corner, maybe defeating the purpose of the shape in my experience, but it's a nice little sponge filter that does the job great when combined with a USB air pump for all my smaller tanks.

Love this
Fits nice in the corner and my frogs like to live under it.

Amazing
I found this product in a blog review of the best sponge filters for small tanks (I have a 7 gallon). I bought it right away because I was setting up my tank for a betta and some ghost shrimp and it's a little larger than I expected it to be but that's ok because it fits perfectly in my tank. It does take a solid two days to soak up enough water to settle at the bottom of the tank and the bubbles it makes are pretty big but if you don't mind the wait and the noise (and it's really not even that noisy, I personally have no problem with it) then this is a great product. And it's super easy to take apart to clean

cheap, and misaligned tube inside
got this to filter a 15 gallon planted tank with a betta in it. Took the filter apart when I got it, and noticed there are two sections to the plastic stem inside the sponge. The bottom stem was misaligned so that the inner tube was not connected. Probably to careless assembly. This would have made the bottom half of the filter not work. So I realigned and reconnected the tubes and it works fine now. So gist of this is to open the filter up and make sure the tubes are aligned. The plastic is bendy, so you should be able to bend it back in place long enough to connect the two parts correctly.
