In this book, you will find some history on Essential Oils, you will learn to spot quality products, it will teach you how to safely use the oils, it will teach you the different uses for oils... many of which have multiple uses. It will tell you things like which oils are not safe to use while pregnant and which oils are not safe to use around your beloved pets. Some oils are toxic to dogs and cats! It tells you which oils are not safe for children and it tells you how to safely apply the ones that are. One of the things I love the most are the recipes! There are recipes for snacks like Apple Cinnamon Bread... Recipes for dinners like Orange Teriyaki Salmon... Recipes for side dishes and soups, desserts... And then there are recipes for things like cough syrup, burn salve, bug spray, household cleaner, laundry soap, shampoo, sunscreen, mouthwash, toothpaste and so much more! It is easy to read, nicely designed and illustrated and scopes all aspects of essential oil medicine. It is also great for knowing essential oil history, general and specific for each oil. I have read in the past other essential oil books but this one is really outstanding. I knew Dr. Axe through his youtube videos and channel and find the information valuable and easily digestible, due not only to his knowledge but to his charisma. I also find the paper in which this book was printed of a nice quality. I would recommend it to anyone interested in essential oils, though I would recommend it to everyone really because of the valuable information it provides for healthcare and beauty.
