The Big Golden Book of Aliens, Creatures, and Beasts (Star Wars)

I bought a set of these books for my 4 year old nephew. He loves them and they are a good level for him to read with his mom and dad's help. My only complaint is that the pages are very thin feeling. It seems as if they may rip easily. For the price, the books are great.

Fun book for Star Wars fans of all ages. The stylized art is very appealing. Would be a good book for a parent to read with a young Star Wars fan.

Our kids love Star wars and their parents are not impartial either - which is an understatement.This book is great for our 4-year old son who has watched the movies and the animated series.The material seems like a selection of creature and alien-material from other Star Wars golden books. So there is not much of a narrative and its more a reference for the youngest readers. Yet, the most familiar and characteristic creatures/aliens are presented in a gentle and colourful manner. While the art is what you would expect from a golden book; brilliant. The binding and hard-cover stands out from the regular series.The best thing is that while reading the book to our son, he provides the additional bits of information and view that he picked up from the movies and toys. So these books trigger excellent discussions and debate.Note; as you might guess given the price & title; these is not a typical-sized golden book. Its a fair bit larger in size. We got a few other Star Wars thematic golden books and therefore they no longer stand out in our large collection of golden books.
