No Clearance to Install the Product; Hidden Restocking and Return Shipping Fees!
The product description did not mention clearance needed to install their spice rack. I have another Vertical Space spice rack that I wanted to install it next to, but was unable to access the installation screws. Return of this product is highly misleading on Amazon. Amazon states free return. However, when you get the instructions and return label Vertical Spice states that you will be charged for return shipping and a 10% restocking fee.Furthermore, when I called, Lauren at Vertical Spice said, “This is clearly laid out in the instructions.”1. No instructions came with the product. Even if they did, by this time I am already inconvenienced, and required to pay hidden return shipping & restocking fees!2. If Vertical Spice had alerted customers to difficult installation or need of EXTRA space for installation, I would not have purchased this spice rack.There are alternatives that are easily installed, and cost a lot less than $130. I paid that price because I wanted it to match my existing spice racks.I purchased another brand, LYNK that installed in seconds. It works great, holds more, as well as a variety of sizes.
