Fantastic beginner’s guitar!!! Buy with confidence.
Speaking as a professionally trained musician: this is a fantastic beginners guitar! Having been a serious musician for some time, I found myself at a loss when looking for a beginner’s guitar for my niece for Christmas this year: Most of what I look at is super expensive, incredibly nice gear. But since my niece’s interest is ENTIRELY based on Coco, I figured that’s a good place to start my search. My purchase was pretty much entirely based on the license and the spruce top, and those seem to have been solid guidelines. It only just came, but I of course had to give it a spin, and it’s surprisingly solid! Even with the half scale, it’s got solid volume, and enough playability to do anything a beginner could handle and beyond. I honestly wouldn’t mind tracking something with this, simply because I don’t have access to another nylon string. Even though this is only the next step for my niece from a fair-prize-plastic-acoustic piece of trash, I might wind up stealing it to track some ideas...

A Truly Awsome Guitar
I did not expect much for the price, so I was blown away at the quality. No setup was needed. The frets were nicely dressed and It is sturdily built. It sounds small, but it is a good tone. I purchased this for a guitar student, and spent hours playing it, breaking it in before giving it up...Now have to get my own. This is not a toy, yet it's priced like one...Don't hesitate to buy. This is the best guitar on the market in this price range, and it is quite a bit better than a lot of guitars priced much higher. I may get one just to put away as a collector piece...

Neck is Wide for Little Hands
I am a petite (5'2") adult beginner wanna-be guitarist with with small hands and short fingers. I wanted a small guitar that I could handle and use to play chords. This mini Cordoba is a lovely little guitar...pretty and well crafted. It is sized just right for me...and I like its sound and nylon strings which are easy on my beginner finger. But, that being said...I am struggling to reach the chords I want to play. That is because the neck is actually wider than is comfortable for me...wider than I expected on a guitar of this size. (It is even wider than the neck of my son's much larger dreadnought guitar.) I just learned that because this is a "classical" guitar it is usually used for playing notes (rather than chords); the wider neck accommodates note playing efficiently. I will make the most of my purchase (maybe shift direction to learning note playing and picking)...but will shop again for an instrument that facilitates chord-playing for little hands.

Delightful guitar for a small adult woman
I was looking for a smaller nylon string guitar after a tendon injury last year. So, I contacted the Cordoba Guitar Co., whose 3/4 size Cadette I used to own. They guided me to this Coco or the new Mini II. I'm sure I would have been very happy with either one. The sound is great for its size (I have the Mahogany version) and it is very comfortable to hold and play. Kudos to Cordoba!

Not worth anything over 75.00
Ok so i like this guitar but for the cost its not worth it. If this guitar was in the 50-75 dollar range id buy it again. The strings are terrible. Doesnt stay tuned at all. Forget about pkaying anything below the 5th fret just sounds aweful. This guitar isnt worth what the want.

Beautiful sound for great price
I bought this specifically as a travel guitar to take along on camping/cabin trips so that it wouldn't take up too much room when packing, which its size works perfectly for. But I was also blown away by how beautiful it sounds, how easy it is to play, and how much of a value it really is for the low price. I've shown it off to a few other musicians and they all want to get one for themselves!

way better than the price
this little guy plays as well as my martini.yes, the reviews about volume are real. it's not loud, but you're able to hear everything when you're jamming so maybe that's not a bad thing. it'd get lost in a band, but solo, it's sweet.i got the mahogany, so it does sound soft and mellow. i had heard a few recordings of the spruce top and was not impressed. but YMMV.

Best for a child
This guitar is a great little guitar for a child that is just learning. The body of the guitar was very thin and the sound was weak. I returned it.

Great Guitar, but BAD delivery
The Guitar itself is good. But the delivery was catastrophe, the box was open , the Guitar was in a very thin box without any protection, Anyhow as it is a Christmas present I can not check it for other damages until Christmas.

Todo perfecto
La guitarra es perfecta pra iniciarse en los estudios. Además de ser muy hermoso y sonar lindo. Lo que hay que tener en cuenta es que las cuerdas que llevan son especiales y eso supone un gasto adicional pues son más caras.

Ottimo
Ottimo prodotto, esteticamente bellissima, bel suono! Per un bambino che vuole iniziare direi un ottimo acquisto! Consegna un po’ lunga ma l’impegno di Amazon a cercare di consegnarlo in tempo è stato ottimo!
