Review: Seller should be barred from desertcart - This lock deserves 0 stars, but that isn't an option. As soon as I put the batteries in and attempted to connect the garbageware app to the lock, the app prompts you to push the "wake up" button. The only problem is, there is no "wake up" button on the lock. The only button on the lock is the reset button, and pushing the reset button, or holding it in for any reasonable amount of time, does absolutely nothing. The most I could get out of the device was popping the batteries in with the app open and ready to connect, and the connection timed out because the lock apparently went right back to sleep. This product should be removed from desertcart and the seller barred from ever listing another item again.

This lock deserves 0 stars, but that isn't an option. As soon as I put the batteries in and attempted to connect the garbageware app to the lock, the app prompts you to push the "wake up" button. The only problem is, there is no "wake up" button on the lock. The only button on the lock is the reset button, and pushing the reset button, or holding it in for any reasonable amount of time, does absolutely nothing. The most I could get out of the device was popping the batteries in with the app open and ready to connect, and the connection timed out because the lock apparently went right back to sleep. This product should be removed from Amazon and the seller barred from ever listing another item again.

Great lock! Super easy to use and took only a few minutes to install. It’s been a huge help keeping teens out of things. It’s a great value considering the ease of installation. I’m not sure on battery life yet but I hope it lasts a long time. Mine is on a rarely used cabinet.
