These Engage earplugs are absolutely awesome. It took me a while to get my ears ready for them. At first, I had a lot of pressure on the left eardrum when inserted, while the right was comfortable. That was super frustrating. After some online research, it seemed I may have had some impacted wax in that left ear. I tried a drugstore wax dissolving/ear wash treatment for about a week or so in that ear. The treatment dislodged a lot of wax. Once that was over, I used some water drying agent in the ear (due to the water wash procedure) and some aquaphor just at the canal opening for healing. I tried the earplugs again, and all was pain free! I have very very small ear canals, the XS tips work best for me with these. I have also used the Quiets for sleeping, but those XS tips seem bigger and I have ordered the XXS tips. It took quite a bit of practice, days of using 2 mirrors front and back simultaneously to see tip placement in my ears, for me to finally get proficient at inserting these properly. There are a lot of videos online, but honestly everyone's ear's are made unique and I feel there are many ways to get a good personalized fit. You need a comfortable fit and a good seal. It is an adventure to achieve both at the same time, but do not give up. It probably took me 2-3 weeks to finally be able to wear these as intended. I think these are quite comfortable. I could probably do 3-4 hours without a break. They are not comfortable enough for sleeping. Eventually, I think I would be able to wear for an 8 hour day if necessary. I purchased the clear. I want to wear them at work. I am a high school teacher in a STEM lab environment. I have 30+ students in a class. My space is concrete walls and floors with an open concept ceiling. There are power tools running, loud conversations, banging on projects with hammers, we have a wind tunnel (super loud), and the students like to have their music playing in the background. It is a great class to teach, but sometimes it is very overstimulating to be in all day long. I have 1-2 ninth grade classes a day each week, and they can be quite loud just in general due to the maturity level. These bad boys tone things down for me. They take the edge off so I don't lose my mind. I can still hear the kids, but MUCH MUCH less loud. If I need to insert the Mutes, even better! I still can maintain engagement, but it is so much more tolerable to be in the room. Currently, I have them popped in, the kids do not know due them being clear, and I can actually think/grade/lesson plan while they do their thing. Everyone is happy and I am not a crabby grumpy teacher. If I lost these I would 100% get online and repurchase. I NEED these for work, not everyday, but often. I keep the little case zipped up in my jacket chest pocket. It is so small that it is not even noticeable that I am carrying it around. I have asked for the Loop necklace strap thing for Christmas. They do not cancel all noise, as this is not what they were designed for. They tone things down while still allowing you to participate in the environment. The Mutes do make things noticeably quieter and I feel they are worth it. Be careful to take them out with a twist to break the seal. If you just pull them out, the sudden change in pressure is somewhat of a discomfort to the eardrum.

after almost 2 years of use, the Loop Engage completely changed how I experience social and noisy environments. they provide effective low-level noise reduction while keeping conversations clear and natural, which was exactly what I was looking for. beyond functionality, they feel like a well-designed accessory—stylish, comfortable, and easy to wear for long periods. this Engage 1 was the starting point with Loop for a much better relationship with sound.

I don't understand how these work but I have now used them on several occasions including two sports events and while waiting in a noisy restaurant. I can still hear people speaking to me (of course it's a bit muffled, but not anything like wearing earbuds or earplugs) but the background noises were greatly reduced. That's not to say they block everything; they don't. But, if I feel a headache coming on due to noise I can put these babies in and problem solved! I have a small head and these are a teensy bit too big for me even with the smallest ear cushions but they aren't terribly uncomfortable. The headaches are much worse than the slight discomfort.. I'm not sure how anyone could complain about these unless they had unrealistic expectations. I love these and now carry them with me Everywhere I go!

These things are ear savers!! Best money I’ve ever spent. I attend a lot of concerts, festivals, and events that are just typically louder than what is healthy for your hearing and these cut the decibles down to a healthy amount to consume. Plus they have pretty colors. I swear by this brand and I own so many of these! They canceled out the perfect amount of noise and make it to where it’s a healthy decibel count for your ears. I’m sure they’ll be great for light sleepers that travel and do hostels. I’ve never had to use them for that because I sleep like the dead. The sizing is great for everyone. It comes with multiple chili earpieces so that you can find the right fit for you. They made very well and made the last. They come with a little carrying case so that it makes it easier to keep up with them. I definitely recommend turning it into a keychain or having a designated spot to put the case so that you don’t lose the case or them. I am speaking from experience. I’ve never had an issue cleaning them. It’s really easy. It’s just like cleaning any other earbud/AirPod. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE needs to protect their hearing. Because once it’s gone, there’s no getting it back.

Super comfortable, keep sounds from driving me crazy, and still allow me to hear my toddler say “hey mom, watch this!” These have saved my sanity (and possibly my children) 😅 We have baby (love him to pieces) who suffers from a lot of colic after being born premature. This means HOURS of screaming at a time some days. Bought these as a last resort because I felt like I was going insane and WOW. If you are a parent, buy these- you won’t regret it! I ended up getting another pair for my husband. I love that it comes with multiple sizes, and a little case that fits on my key chain. They’ve been washed (several times oops) and held up perfectly. I can wear them all day and often forget I have them on. You do hear yourself a lot more loudly so don’t plan on wearing them while eating or drinking if those sounds bother you. Overall- a serious lifesaver for being a busy and burnt out mom (or dad)!

These are great, especially when in a noisy environment and you are overstimulated. I don't really like wearing them when I'm have conversations, because the speaker will sound muffled and I already have trouble deciphering words. I can say, these will cut out all the high pitched background noise and reduce my anxiety. They even help when I have migraines. They fit comfortably, I have even slept in them, though I know they are not intended for that. I like the little case they come with, very convenient. Overall, I'm very happy with these.

i have sensory issues and these help SO MUCH!! they feel a bit weird in your ear, so it can take some getting used to, but they help prevent overstimulation and meltdowns so well!! i use them all the time when in busy/noisy places and they are great. they do muffle things (obviously) so if you are talking to someone particularly quiet it might be hard to hear them, but i can usually hold a conversation while wearing one or both earplugs

De kinderdagopvang achter mijn huis wordt alleen door een brandgang gescheiden van mijn tuin. Ik was opzoek naar plugs die het vreselijke gekrijs van de kids zou verminderen, terwijl ik nog wel een film kan kijken en horen of het geluid van een spelletje kon horen. Eerst de Experience Equinox geprobeerd, deze waren niet geschikt voor mijn doel, film moest wel heel luid om het te horen, daarna de de Engage 2 die bij nader onderzoek een smaller staafje hebben waardoor bij mij geen van de dopjes echt fijn zitten. Daarna de Engage kids in de hoop dat de dopjes beter zouden passen, helaas. Nu eindelijk blij met de Engage Equinox. Deze is uit de eerste serie LOOP, heeft dus een breder staafje en voelt erg prettig aan in mijn oren. Deze zijn op de site van LOOP niet meer te krijgen!

I had high hopes for these and I've been very happy with my Loops so far! What a difference in my overall quality of life! PROS: - Work well at "taking the edge off" for loud environments - I can still hear everything around me, including conversations, but it's at a more manageable level - Comfortable to wear for hours at a time - Pretty and I get lots of compliments on them, yet they're still discreet - Added bonus: Great for concentration and focus CONS: - The heightened sound of my own voice makes it difficult to talk at a "normal" level. I've had people tell me that I talk quieter when I have them in - Can't wear these while eating because the sound of my own chewing is LOUD and very irritating - Learning curve to figuring out how they fit (different ear tips and securing them in the ear) - Takes some getting used to in having them in and the way that sound changes The only flaw I can find is that the Loop case is VERY slippery. This obviously isn't a fault of the Loops themselves, but even so, it's worth noting. I've had the case fall out of my pocket multiple times, resulting in minor damage to the case itself. The securing feature to keep the case closed isn't tight enough for me to feel comfortable putting it on a keychain. Overall, these are DEFINITELY a plus for me. I bought these for work, but I find that I wear them a lot at home, too, when I need to focus on something. These won't solve all of your problems, as some may state, but they will do a darn good job at helping make many of life's daily stressors much easier to handle! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
