Perfect physical and connection fit.
My Ford tailgate-mounted camera had become intermittent, which I mistakenly attributed to wiring. After I replaced the cable from the truck harness up into the tailgate and the problem persisted, I opted to try the obvious solution and ordered this camera. The price point is good and it installed without issue. It's only been in for a few days, but, so far, no problems. Color quality doesn't seem to match original, but close enough.

Highly recommend. The camera has a wide view. You can also see the bumper to help hook up a trailer. It’s nice that the video cable is already covered with wire loom.

Easy install, time will tell!!
2015 Ford escape back up camera replacement, about a thirty five minute job that only required a torx 20 and a 10mm socket on a extension. The replacement fit great plugged right in and instantly fixed the "camera not available" on the dash, the picture is good and the OEM alignment lines work properly with steering wheel angle.

Serviceable replacement for OEM
Wiring harness and overall quality seem good. Lens is shorter than OEM so it sits back from the housing. The result is that the corners are dark because the camera is seeing the edges of the housing.

Perfect FIT !!!
My, 2016 FORD Transit Connect XLT, camera stopped working. I Looked everywhere for this camera, the dealership wanted 281.00 for the same camera. It fit perfectly, & was so easy to exchange, plugged right in, and worked perfectly... So happy to have the camera come on again when Backing UP.....

Upside down image and guide lines not accurate
Image is upside down. I flipped the camera but it it does not fit like it should. The guide lines are off. You will need to use your side mirrors if you get this product

5 min fix for a 2013 Ford Escape!
Even though this was listed for a 2014-2016 Escape, it worked perfectly for my 2013 Ford Escape that had an inverted screen even after a hard reset. It was a 5 minute fix that even I, with zero car repair experience managed. Pried off the plastic camera casing on the exterior of the car, un plugged the old camera, plugged in the new one and reattached the casing- and voila! It works!

Lines are off center
Not the most effective camera. The lane lines that light up are not center at all. If I use this to actually back up I would definitely hit something. Good thing I know how to use my mirrors.
