Feels smooth, unsure of the surf fishing corrosion
Wow lots of bearings! This reel is extremely smooth. Yes there are lots of seals on the unit but I'm unsure of alot of the components lasting a long time. It's got alot of plastic, and over all cheaply made but, its 50$! 13 bearing, some seals, low gear raito, and ready for braid just buy it. It's a good value for what u get. I'm sure if I do frequentcleanings after i use it, it shouldn't be a issue. Mabey not so good for surf fishing but inshore or boat shouldn't be an issue.

Great reel, that looks and works good
We fish from bridges in the Fla. keys. Catch a lot of 2# fish but occasional tie into big ones. This reel has handled it better than any so far. It’s a good looking reel and works easily.

The affordable Shimano alternative?
Great reel especially for the price! For reference this is their 3000 model next to my 5000 shimano Stradic. One combo was $400 and the other was $60 and the Im amazed by how much I equally like them. Feels sturdy and very smooth, no complaints with the drag and seals look good. Only time will tell to see if it could truly compete.

"Accuretta Menethil" on Box - UPDATE, Avoid!
UPDATE: My original, unedited review remains below. I'm a little late with this update. Life got in the way. I didn't have much time for fishing. But today I was finally able to use the two 5000 reels I purchased.BOTH failed on the same day. It was the drag / clicker system. The drag on one started sounding like gravel and got very, very rough. The drag clicker went out on the other. It appears to have just broken in half.It was an easy, light day, y'all. I caught a few small whiting; nothing more. Almost any spinning reel should have performed without error. The fact that both 5000s broke on the same day should tell you everything you need to know about this brand.I'll say one thing. It is a gorgeous reel. I guess that's the hook. But in my experience its internals are the absolute lowest in terms of quality. I mean really. How could it have been any worse? My experience with Accuretta is so bad I actually feel like I've been conned.______Had a difficult time trying to research before buying but decided to take a chance anyway. The reels are beautiful and affordable. It'll take time to see how well they stand up to mother nature. A reviewer on AliExpress claims that the drag on the 5000 and 6000 seems improved over the smaller models. Take that for whatever it's worth. There are a few unboxing videos on YouTube but nothing that's in English. That said, we'll start this review with a 4 and update later. Tight lines, y'all.
