Love this lock! It’s super easy to install and the app works perfectly with it as well. You can set multiple finger prints if needed. It’s exactly what we were looking for.

The media could not be loaded. DO NOT BUY OR EVEN WASTE TIME WITH THIS PRODUCT!!! Now my video pretty much shows everything but this is not the only thing I've had a problem with. I also bought a Smart Lock through a different company for my downstairs door so it had the thumbprint the keypad and the fobs but it came with the same exact app. I'm not going to mention that lock on here cuz I'm just going to talk about this now but I do really have to refer to the app. It is called Tuya. And all I know is the first lock I purchased for downstairs my front door had the exact same app and it did basically the exact same kind of things to us and it was just nothing but a humongous pain and never worked and I had to send back to. Then I found one for downstairs and it is not ran by any app whatsoever although I heard whatever that geek something app is, that is an okay app from what I hear but I have not dealt with them I've only dealt with this Tuya application. And it has done nothing but give me problems so I'm very happy with my purchase for the downstairs lock because it actually comes with no app whatsoever! It is not Bluetooth or Wi-Fi which I heard can be hacked anyway and I don't think they can really make these applications do what they're supposed to especially Bluetooth because the Bluetooth constantly disconnects if you can get it to connect. So that is my point I cannot even get this lock to connect to the Bluetooth to even make it to the app and try to set anything up. Now you must need the app to be able to program these fingerprints because if you watch my video you see that now anyone can basically open my door can just open it right up and that makes no sense whatsoever! Not to mention there is no key or any alternative way to get in which is scary because who wants to get locked out of their house let alone their bedroom so that is a big concern I would say if anybody is interested in purchasing this I would say just for that reason don't do it. But I say don't do it at all don't even waste your time if you see that any thing even a camera I would definitely just steer clear away from that application once again it's called Tuya and it's a complete joke it's horrible! Not to mention just like this doorknob and you know I just needed something for my bedroom to keep my little one out not to mention my 12-year-old also you know when you have kids you don't need them just going in your bedroom whenever they want and that seems to constantly happen to me having two girls so much of my makeup jewelry etc lost in quotation marks that should be and you know all that so all you mothers out there or fathers if you're trying to keep your kids out of your room this is not the handle for you. Now that is why I purchased it because it was only $25 and I did not want to spend $50 on a door knob for my bedroom. Spending over $50 for my front door is a different story but when it's just my bedroom I don't want that! I did have a regular door knob with a key on my bedroom before I decided to switch this and the reason I decided that is because my daughter needed to be able to lock her bedroom to keep the 7-year-old out of her makeup now since she is 12 and all of that. So I switched I decided to buy this and I put my old door knob with the key on her bedroom door and I was going to use this much easier I don't have to bring my car keys up with me and then go back downstairs to leave and constantly forget them in my bedroom so I figured the thumbprint door handle was the best idea and it's what I wanted. I found and bought this one because of the price! But now I'm wishing I never would have and like I said I will never purchase another lock that has anything to do with that application I may not even ever purchase any smart home device or anything that has any application to be honest with you because they have done nothing but give me problems! So yes I will be returning this now and I guess I will be spending the extra 20 more dollars which is going to bring me up to about 50 to buy a good one so I can just have the peace of mind that everything is fine and my kids are not in my room while I'm taking a shower going through my stuff. So I'm telling you right now just skip over this and seriously I know the apps sound great I know there's reviews where people love it but sometimes I honestly believe those reviews are not correct they're made up because the deeper you look you will then start to find the horrible reviews. Not to mention all those good reviews have such great grammar and punctuation they even separate their paragraphs so I'm sorry but I believe a lot of those reviews are made up by the company or something like that. Or they pay people to do that stuff. So take my advice watch that video and if you're anything like me just go look for one with no app and if you really have to have an app steer clear from that one like I said I heard there's one that's called geek something and it seems to work okay but then again the guy that had told me this spent $150 on his door handle and it is simply just a handle like this and it's for his bedroom but I guess he had that money to spend and he has an app called The geek something so I'm sorry I don't remember it just starts with geek so maybe check out those! But once again do not buy this. I really hope you listen it'll save you time energy money and dissatisfaction when you install it and realize you wasted your time that's mainly what upsets me the most because I've already been dealing with the downstairs one for over a month now so I really didn't feel like dealing with this too.

The media could not be loaded. I like this product. It was easy to install and it automatically locks as soon as you close your door. I can go into an app to unlock the door if I need to and I can also add other people’s finger prints to my door knob. Great product for a great price

It works as advertised only thing I would note is that it does not have a touchscreen on the cheap model but I don’t need that and can not beat the price so a bought a 2nd one :)

Please do not buy this product. I had it for about 5 months, and the app slowly got faultier over time. When the battery began to die, I put new batteries in and thought it would be okay, but later that week, I left and closed my bedroom door to go to the restroom in the early morning and the handle locked by itself. I had free passage mode on so this shouldn’t have happened. When I tried to use my fingerprint, it didn’t work, and plugging it in as the manual suggested didn’t work either. The manual also mentioned a key, but I never received a physical key with this product nor is it advertised in this posting. I had locked my phone, all communication devices, keys, and wallet in my bedroom. My family members weren’t home, so luckily I was able to use a neighbors phone to get ahold of a locksmith and they were able to get the doorknob off. But I missed an important appointment because of this and wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone. not to mention the hours of distress I dealt with trying everything to get the knob to open.Terrible product, and potentially dangerous. I’m lucky this wasn’t a knob I used to get into my house.

I wish it had a timer. When I'm home and want to leave it 🔓 I have to use the app to shut it off....or at night when I am sleeping I have to use the app to shut it off...It's nice and works great though..
