My daughters love this. Not only creative but the end result is something that they can proudly wear. It's quite an extensive kit and could even be used for a party for a group of girls to do as an activity. Then they get to take them home as part of their party bag! Much cheaper than a usual party... Although we didn't do this I think i'll buy another for my 5 year olds next birthday. My two (5 and 8) had no problems creating some really nice headbands but i did also give them a few more items to use - but there was plenty for them in there already if it was just the two of them. I would add more if i went for the group party idea though. And use a better glue!

Purchased for a seven and a half year old who enjoys making things. This is quite simple to do, and the results are good. For your money you receive a big 'pot' of basic mix, to which you add a flavour (supplied) and mix to produce your own lip balm. The little pots are supplied, together with stickers to decorate. The instructions state that the mix should be divided into five sections (five pots supplied), however found there is a little too much mix for one pot if do so this way - as its difficult to be 'exact' in terms of measurement! Would advise making these one at a time - as a fifth seems to be too much for one pot, and the 'surplus' can be put into another of the 'pots'. Also, the consistency of the mix can be tailored to suit. Would imagine this could appeal to girls of all ages!

This worked well as an activity for my daughter and six friends for her birthday party at home. Right amount of time i.e. whole activity about 20mins which is the attention span at a party I think! Also good to give them an activity they get something to take home rather than figuring out a load of party bag items too!There are five pots in the set so I had to buy two sets for the seven of them, shame really as there was plenty of wax and colours for all seven so I only really needed a couple of little pots.It is pretty soft, even if you keep it in the fridge! for that reason my daughter has not really actually used the balm, she has reverted back to the more solid sticks or pots instead of using her own homemade one.Plenty of stickers to design the pots, but do that before fingers or pots get near the wax as everything gets a bit greasy and does not stick.

Bought this for my niece as a present as she is in to making her own perfumes and lip balms and this was ideal, it is age 7 and up and I bought it for my 9 years old niece, it contained lots of flavours and all the stuff needed to make great design lip balms and she made them for her friends as presents which was great, also came with a good choice of stickers aswell. Children just love to make things and this is great for those creative young minds as it allows them to create there own designs and then showcase them to there friends. A great leaning gift and kids just love this type of stuff.

I bought his for my eleven year old goddaughter at Christmas. She was really pleased with it, especially the stickers as she and her friend both enjoyed creating their own designs on the little pots which are included in the set. Although I suggested that she should read the instructions before doing anything, she did not, and therefore didn’t realise that you were supposed to wash the pots beforehand. Therefore all of the stickers had to be removed and then re-applied; luckily there were enough to do this. It took less than an hour to decorate the pots and make the lip gloss and after this had been achieved the gloss has been cast aside like most other toys and creative kits are these days. My god daughter enjoyed making the glosses, but I don’t think I’d buy another of these kits again due to the fact that it only provides an hour of entertainment.

Purchased for my two little girlies who are turning 7 soon. Hopefully they will love this item. I think as 7 year olds it might be too young for them. They will need adult supervision which ofcourse I will be providing. They have had a number of similar craft creative items for their previous birthdays.Hit the like button as I want paid for this review or gifted.....would mean the world..

Nice packing and makes a lovely present. I bought this one for a half term project for a 7 year old.Sadly the product could do with a bit move quantity of the "flavours" as there is more balm than flavour by a long shot. The stickers for the pots were great and the little purse to keep the pots in is also a great idea.All in all i liked this product and would recommend this.

I reluctantly bought this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas worried about the mess it would make! Well I didnt have to worry, its a very basic but well thought out kit. It was easy to do and my daughter loved it! IF I had to say one thing about it would be that the flavors were hard to squeeze out of the pots...but thats really scraping the barrel. I would buy it again.

Kit facile à réaliser. Sans danger. On décore les boites à notre goût. Il suffit d’eau chaude pour faire fondre le baume et le mélanger à la couleur goût que l’on veut. Et c’est prêt. Il est onctueux. Ma petite fille était ravie. J’ai même eu le droit d’avoir un pot pour moi qu’elle m’a offert et j’aime bc m’en mettre pour hydrater mes levres

Did not open box (sealed), because it was a gift, but could see product and was very impressed with this - especially for the remarkably low price...much nicer than I ever would have expected! Would buy again! They say you get what you pay for...well for what I paid, I got a whole lot more. Sure the little girl I purchased this for will really enjoy this! Thanks!

Ver nice but a little smaller than I thought.

I thought my daughter would love this activity and it has met with limited adoption thus far. The socks are really hard to color on because they are so stretchy. The ink does not flow easily out of the pens. Of course, too much flow could lead to the color bleeding but there was NO risk of that with these pens. Because the sock material is stretchy and the pens not super inky, the tips of the pens ended up collecting sock material. My daughter normally polishes off something like this in a day or two. She has had it a week and has only colored one part of one sock.Unfortunately I really cannot recommend this product.

My newly 6 year old grand daughter LOVES this kit! She made all the rings in the first few days after receiving it and wants to have another set for Christmas. I wish there were more variations of this same toy. The rings are adjustable to any size small finger and look very beautiful, if you don't mind a little plastic and paper. The rhinestones set each ring off into total fanciness, for any child who doesn't already own lots of "the real thing". They may not be very durable, but so far she just likes looking at them in the ring holder that displays them all together.
