It Works Like A Charm!!!
I was skeptical about this simple machine's ability to handle my daily chopping tasks. I have had lots of similar tools over the years-both electric and manual choppers- all of which were disappointing to various degrees. I went right to the devil of the cutting board, aka baby carrots. They're slippery, they don't lie flat, and I usually have to sacrifice one end to save my fingers. I put just 5 carrots in the sturdy glass cup, snapped on the lid and pulled the ring. After no more than half a dozen pulls, the carrots were evenly chopped! It was smooth, quick, and EASY! Cleanup was quick and easy as well. I'M IMPRESSED!

Sharp Blades
I just made the best gazpacho ever, using my new Veggie-Chop. While it takes longer and requires more effort than my electric mini food processor, it produces a superior rough chop. However, please use caution when adjusting or cleaning the blades. They are exceedingly sharp and will slice skin in a careless second. I have bandaids on 2 fingers which speak to the issue. Do not touch the blades. Just rinse while holding the plastic attached to the blades and let it air dry.

It has a glass bowl
I love this chopper it is very easy to put the lid on and it chops very well. The only thing missing is the blending accessory. If it had that I could get rid of a few smaller ones. The glass bowl is similar to the pyrex measuring pitcher. I havent had any problems using it.😊💯❤To the manufacturer....do a blender attachment and send me one.🙂

Does not add value to my kitchen.
I gave this a good shot. It's going to the Salvation Army, where it can take up space in someone else's house.Baby carrots: too hard, didn't chopOnions: Chopped nicely on the second try...takes several spins, but it worksMixed Vegetables: Some small pieces, mostly still big. Pulled stuck ones off the blades, causing bloodshed.Full of vegetables: the little chopper axle taunts you, standing *almost* straight up, but just a little crooked, until your tenth try to get the lid exactly centered for the chopper to turn.At its best, you get a good chop. BUT: you also got out a cutting board and knife to cut the vegetables into pieces small enough to go in this device. You know what you can do next with the dirty cutting board and knife? JUST KEEP CUTTING. Then things are really nicely diced. You have two kitchen items that need cleaning. OR you can take those items and put them in this chopper, ending up with five things to wash, one of which is sharp.Keep it simple, people.

Love this thing!
I love this Veggiechop. I’d gotten one for my sister who is a better cook than I am she told me that she really enjoyed using. So I got one for myself. It’s so easy to use and clean. And you get a 5 cup Pyrex measuring cup as well. Yesterday I needed a couple tablespoons of minced onion and one of garlic , I threw them in together and with a half dozen pulls they were perfectly minced and I had to do is rinse it out with a little soapy water boom, done. Minced finer that I could’ve by hand. Or faster I should say. No dragging out my food processor, plugging it in, and having to take it apart and clean all the parts. Last week I needed 4 cups of chopped vegetables and it was just as easy. I’m really happy with it.

Needs more blades
I don't understand why this has so few blades? If you fill this over the halfway mark, it's only going to chop things on the bottom half / where there are blades. Though it might make it a bit more dangerous to handle, I'd prefer additional blades. The extra room is just defeated when you can only chop half the food added.

Don't you cry no more!
Super product, bought one myself on a whim then bought one for my mother. Onions can no longer harm our delicate eyes and chopping is a breeze. I've been so bold as to chop raw carrots with this beast, and to my surprise it actually worked. Could do with some additional capacity, but nothing a couple of rounds won't fix - still saves buckets of time vs. chopping with a knife. A hidden feature is you can snap off the lip component and leave behind the pull cord segment to dishwash the full unit. But I've also put the pull cord through the dishwasher and it did just fine - probably not right to do so, but hey it worked!

Love the Glass - Don't like the Platic Piece that touches the food
I really love this because of the glass and the size is bigger than most. I am trying to not buy as many plastic things to help the environment and because it's unsafe when it touches food even if it says BPA free. The only part I don't like is that the blades are attached to plastic instead of stainless steel and food touches it. Otherwise I love it.

Calidad y buen precio
Muy buena picadora, le cabe lo poco y lo mucho es de un litro y el cristal es grueso, me encanto.

Great if you fill it at least halfway
I got this because I have the smaller plastic version of this. I've had it for years and it's arguably the kitchen gadget I use the most. Everything from chopping onions, green peppers, garlic and even bread crumbs for crusts, to actually making salsa directly in the bowl. A few tugs and job done and much easier to clean and store compared to an electric food processor. So even though I was happy with my old plastic one, I am one of those people that has succumbed to trying to replace my plastic with glass. Not only for BPA concerns, but because it is easier to clean and doesn't retain stains or odours like plastic. My old plastic version this now perpetually smells like onions. So I decided to give this a go for theses reason, plus the larger capacity. On the whole this works just as well as my old plastic one. That said, it actually works better with larger quantities. I tried to make salsa with this one like I did with my old one and because it's so large, ingredients just get spun out to the sides of the container without continuing to be chopped. So I constantly had to stop and juggling thing around before I got the consistency I wanted, which is annoying. Also, given how long and light the spinning mechanism is, it's quite easily to topple over when you add ingredients (again compared to my older model). However, when I had to chop large quantities of onions or green peppers for a gumbo I was making, this did the trick nicely by shoving both in all at once. With my smaller capacity chopper I'd have to chop one ingredient first, dump it out and then the next. So, on the whole, I am glad I kept my old one as I think it's still better for small quantities and making a small batch of salsa or guacamole. However, when I need heavy lifting for a stew or casserole, or large batches of salsa for a party. This does the trick and definitely cleans up more easily than my previous one.
