Simple and effective
This does exactly what it claims to. Noticeable improvement to both the tone and feel, especially with weaker single coil pickups. Much closer to what I experience when playing through a tube amp.The minimalist design may have been taken a bit too far. The jacks aren't labeled and there's really no reliable way to know if the dial is on 3, 5, or 8. I don't mind b/c it just forces me to use my ears instead of relying on my eyes/memory. Once I get each of my guitars dialed in, I will probably just mark the positions with different colors of nail polish on the adjustment wheel. If that bothers you, I suggest looking at one of the more expensive pedals or DI boxes from Radial with adjustable impedance levels instead.

Something was wrong with my tone... this solved!
On my vintage Gretsch artchtop we added a DeArmond "monkey on a stick" pickup and it sounded good but something was wrong or missing or just not right. Added this and set it to about middle and I'm in love with the tone I'm getting. I don't know or understand how this works, but it does. My tone sounded too peaky at a few spots, not smooth, maybe too hi-fi, and this solved!

I can hear a difference. It has a knob. So, I guess I just have another place to tweak the sound. I can tell when it's not connected. I have 2 pods. I don't think it's worth buying 2 of these, tho.

Overdue
I should have picked this up a long time ago. All you have to do is dial in the sweet spot or resonance you want and your are good to go.

Makes a wireless rig feel like a cable.
This does an excellent job in-between my guitars and wireless pack. Highly recommended, but mostly for lower output pickups like single coils in Strats and Teles, and low-wind PAFs. Higher output pickups do not show as much improvement. Restores the "glue" one feels when plugged directly into the front of an amp. Most wireless packs sound and feel thin and unflattering. This is a great solution.

Makes the guitar sound like it's plugged straight into the amp
Must have for guitarists using buffers on their pedalboards..

WOW what a difference, this thing really dials in your pickups along with your wireless signal to give you more of the sound you're looking for to match with your pickups. It must have for wireless users
