Baryshnikov at Wolf Trap

It doesn't take long to view the complete programme on this DVD. And the recording cannot hide its age. But oh how wonderful it is. Baryshnikov performs with breathtaking artistry at the peak of his career. Who can leap and spin like that these days (although I suspect Steven McRae can match it now - see him in the newly released ROH Blu Ray of Rhapsody, an Ashton celebration). Back to the point however. This DVD captures a marvellous moment in history. Its a must see - over and over again!
