Pretty easy to use and works for finding studs. The finding electrical wires function didnt seem to work for me, but when I opened the wall I was working on, I found that the Romex was on the other side of the hollow wall, not running along the drywall I was searching with the finder. Overall, works well, and I'd buy again.

The instruction booklet was riddled with typos or grammatical errors or translation issues or something. It was challenging to fully understand some of the instructions. If they paid me I would rewrite them so that its more readable.

I was surprised what great quality it was for the price. I’ve never had a stud finder work so well as this one. It picks up wood, metal & electrical. Great for your buck!!

This scanner is highly inconsistent, overly complex, and burdensome to use. Despite multiple calibrations and numerous attempts, it can only detect a stud once and then misses it the next time. In contrast, my scanner, which I have used for over 20 years, and which has no calibration requirement, accurately locates a stud in a single try without requiring any calibration. This device fails consistently with stud detection no matter how slowly you scan the wall. Additionally, the AC detection feature displays a broad area with electricity instead of a narrower range where the wire is approximately located. Also, the user manual is incoherent but I did my best to follow all provided instructions with no success. I will be returning it.

But I still had a hard time getting it to work on my plaster / drywall walls.

This wall scanner can do a great number of things, such as finding wooden studs, metal p[ipes, live electric wires and other things that can be hidden in side a wall. I even had to go through a wall coverage of ceramic tile, which it did better than any stud finder I have ever used. It handles very easily and is is quite stable. I don't think one can find anything better for that price.

I got this to hopefully find a wall stud under tile and wonder board. It does a very good job finding studs in a bare wall, but didn't do so great through tile. It's better than the cheap units I had before, but not exactly what I needed. But good enough to keep for other jobs, so I'm keeping it.

I found it to be sometimes right and sometimes not. The arrows plainly show you where the wood stud is. I found the first one and verified it with a nail then tried to find the next stud after calibrating again and I did not find the next stud which should have been another 16 inches. The stud finder did not and then which was correct but Had I not known the next stud was 16 away , i am not sure I would have found it. All in all it did help and I would purchase again. Remember to calibrate it on the wall every time you move it though.
