Its decent
Thought i would try this device out as an upgrade from the cheap generic tplink usb dongle i bought from this site a few years ago. That one would make my headphones constantly drop audio when im listening and would bug out when i also paired an xbox controller. So far with this ive faced none of those issues, the range is good, and its easy to install. Not a bad buy.

Works as intended.
It works. Just plug it in and connects. Only used it around my desk area at around 5 ft distance and works.

what an improvement
it works. i game on a intel nuc on a tv. the distance between my chair and tv was just too much for the integrated bluetooth chip. i plugged this thing in, windows dinged, setup was done. i disabled the onboard chip through device manager, and my gaming controller synced almost instantly, up and running in no time. no more missed inputs, no more lag, such an improvement. i have not tested this with batocera yetCON: the only con i have, is the antennas. they rotate 180 which is fine, but the ports in my nuc seem upside down, so if i plug this onto it, they either stick straight back, or upside down. i solved this problem by sticking it into a usb hub thats tucked away, because of the range this has i can hide it away and it still seems to work flawlessly

Works great for me.
While using my onboard bluetooth, I couldn't get more than about 20 feet of range with headphones. Now I get a solid signal everywhere in my house and outdoors a fair distance. I chose this brand because another option here took too long to ship.

Solved issues with integrated BT in mini PC
I have a mini PC that has an integrated BT chip on the Wi-Fi card. I am only using it for a BT keyboard/mouse pad combo. Unfortunately it was having a couple issues. The first being that under high CPU load the mouse pad would get laggy and/or freeze up so that the cursor didn't move. Also the keyboard would often mistype. The second being that after going to sleep only the mouse pad would lose connection and I would have to hit a key on the keyboard to be able to start using the mouse again. When the keyboard is not in immediate use it goes to sleep but would turn off the mouse pad completely. This is not how it was intended to work. After installing this BT adapter, I am happy to report there is no more lag or mistyping during heavy CPU load nor are there any disconnects of the mouse pad. They keyboard does still go to sleep after a while (like it should) however I can just start using the mouse pad again without having to hit a key on the keyboard to wake up the whole unit. When I installed the adapter it did cause issues with the existing BT from intel. I lost all connection to the keyboard and got an intel BT driver error. So I used a Wi-Fi keyboard to disable the old intel BT and re-paired the keyboard/mouse combo with the new BT adapter.Couldn't be happier so far.

Does nothing and the website does nothing to help
I liked that it was supposed to allow me to have several BT devices active at once. Unfortunately it does nothing. It sees my BT devices but fails to allow them to connect. If I use my old dongle I can remove the devices and see if the Maxumi BT dongle will work. It saw my devices but again failed to connect or remove. The website is about as useless as screen door in a submarine. It had no support page but did have a download pull down menu for 5.0 and 5.1 drivers but, the device is a 5.3? The instructions say it should be plug and play for Win 10 machines, but I tried the drivers anyway and they did not fix my situation as I suspected so I uninstalled them. I guess it's time to return this junk.

Incredible!
Works incredible straight from the box and plugged in. I did not have to install anything, just plugged it in and it immediately worked. Tested it with some bluetooth headphones and the connectivity is strong. I can walk quite a distance away from my PC and still be connected via bluetooth.

For me, it does not have the quoted range, but does work very well
I tried two other makes of dongle, and I think due to a lot of interference where it needs to be placed, the drop out was very bad, even sitting close by.I bought this with the intention of retuning it if it was like the others, as I thought I might end up with a draw full of dongles, but it does work very well in the conditions I use it, and I can still be locked in, even if I leave the room but stay on the same floor.I feel sure under more ideal conditions I could get further away, but for me, in the same room, no drop out, is great.
