Great tool to have
The build and durability of this product had me worried at the time of purchase. But upon receiving it and replacing 12 studs on my truck it has held up great! For the price point and craftsmanship I definitely recommend this for any shade tree mechanic or do it yourself type!

Doesn’t fit 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Looks like a good product and would help installing studs. However it does not fit to work on the front wheel of 2010 FJ Cruiser. The outside diameter of the installer is too large to fid between the stud and the bearing hub.

Worked great!
I’m not sure how I would have installed my new studs otherwise. Very easy to use and very effective.

RECOMMEND SHOOTING GREASE IN IT WITH A NEEDLE
We tried this out just more for curiosity. My new lug bolt is not here yet, but I have no doubt it will put that in without issue, It's multiple uses I'm not sure about yet. However, it may be a LONG time before I can answer that question and they want me to say something sooner than later, so we tried torquing down on an already installed lug bolt to see how we thought of the tool, and whether or not we felt it will do the job for real. Well, we cranked down on it with a LONG torque wrench. We gave it a good 600 pound crank down and it still spun on the bearing at that point, which is MORE than sufficient to pull in a lug bolt. TEST PASSED. But, turning by hand and the bearing felt "sticky" or lumpy both before and after the test. Perhaps they do what we did and torque them down good before sending them out. If so, there may be a slight dimple in the bearing race from the factory. Still it worked fine with slow cranking and did not seem to bind under torque.

A quick and simple tool.
I used this tool to install wheel studs on my 2017 Forester in my garage. It is simple to use and very quick. I just used an impact drill to drive a new wheel nut onto the stud and this drew the stud into place easily. Just go SLOWLY with the impact. And gently !
