Solid
I am very happy with the size of this cutting board. The handle fits nicely in my hand. It's made out of solid wood and has a slight warp. I've used it to chop vegetables and it was stable. Another reviewer said their cutting board had a smell. Mine didn't smell at all.

It has horrible varnish odor and color
I do not think this cutting board is safe to use for food preparation. While rinsed it with fresh water, it produced a terrible odor that lingering and turned the white cloth into brownish color. I do NOT recommend this for food preparation.

Great Solid Cutting Board
We are really enjoying this cutting board it is very solid and has great weight to it. We got the medium size and it is perfect for cutting up vegetables and other prep items, the size works really well for us. I especially love that it is a solid single piece of wood and that there are no harmful adhesives chemicals. It looks great and could easily be doubled as a serving platter. Very happy with my purchase and think it is an excellent value for the price.
