I shopped around extensively to find a good drop file cart and this was the best price I found for a name brand item.The materials used are good and solid,.... no flimsy tin or plastic here! The finish is excellent with no over spray or missed edges.Assembly was easy and the guide provided simple to follow instructions.I couldn't be happier with this cart, it';s exactly what I wanted, excellent quality, very fast delivery and an unbeatable price.

Ideal when working through large projects. So much easier than having files piled up on desk. Good height, easy to put together and manoeuvre around the office.

A lot of the comments were negative when I purchased this so I was a little hesitate about buying but I really need something like this and it was an ok price to others that I have seen. I have used this to store my personal filling in my house and it fits nicely under the stairs which is perfect. It isn't brilliant construction and is a bit hard to put together I would expect a bit better quality for the price but it does the job and I am overall happy with the purchase

Received the item extensively battered and therefore very difficult to assemble. Many of the panels were bent out of shape and we had grave difficulties trying to get them to fit together. The pre-drilled holes for the wheels and their fastenings initially look like they are too big, so they can't be secured. It is only after much later do you discover through the instructions, that there are two other bars that enable them to secure. The instructions themselves are somewhat opaque and difficult to understand. We would be sending this back, if we weren't so desperate for lockable filing space and really couldn't face the prospect of having to dismantle it all again. DO NOT BUY!

I was wary of other reviews but decided to take a chance and I am glad that I did. It took just over an hour to assemble and I did encounter some difficuties aligning holes and fitting the dreaded security screws. However the finished article is much better than expected.I laid out all the pieces and placed a sticky dot on each numbered with the corresponding number in the instructions. When fitting the sides to the end panel it is far easier to put the screws nearest the end panel in first. If you do the other end first the holes are much harder to line up.You will need a very good quality crosshead screwdriver as the screws are quite a tight fit. You probably wont be able to use a power screwdriver as the screws are close to the panels.When it comes to fitting the centre middle shelf it is much easier to put the side part on the floor and then fit the shelf; the instructions picture shows the opposite which is more cumbersome.The rails at the base of the unit that hold the castors in place have a correct way and a wrong way of fitting. If the holes do not quite line up turn the rail 180 degrees and that should solve the problem.As you near the end of the assembly you have to fit the lids with security screws and nylon washers. The security screws are very poor and the flat point screwdriver may round off the slot on the screw head. I used a set of grips/pliers instead and tightened up that way. Ideally if you could find a bolt with the same thread as the screw and pilot that through first, remove it and then put the security screw in.The product details state it is suitable for foolscap and A4 suspension files - it is but you can only have one or the other. For A4 you will need to fit an optional extra bar in the cabinet. It is not required when using foolscap. The bestfoolscap I found were 5 Star Office Suspension File Manilla Heavyweight with Tabs and Inserts Foolscap Green [Pack 50]There is a way of having A4 and foolscap together in the same trolley. All you need to do is cut the optional metal bar with a hacksaw at a suitable point and drill one or two holes in the bar and trolley. Secure it in the trolley with suitable nuts/bolts and place an end stop on the rail.The security of the unit is low despite the locking lid and security screws and it comes with two keys.

If this product has quality control it must have been on holiday the day this was made.Dented and misshapen profiles on the self assembly panels made construction difficult.To cap it all the lockable lid was dented and poorly finished.Avoid if your not prepared to correct basic quality control issues.Nice idea badly executed and at this quality dear at half the price.As other reviews have suggested avoid or play the quality lottery
