I liked it so much I bought the company. That's not true, but I did like it so much that I bought a second one cos it cost me fifteen quid to fill the first with beef dripping so that one is exclusively for chips. My onion rings can make do with sunflower oil.These are pretty generic fryers, they're available in all sorts of colours and finishes and with different lids. I had an almost identical one from Asda for about twenty five quid but finished in chrome. This black finish is much easier to keep clean, it wipes really easily. It looks good, it works well, it strips down for simple cleaning. It has a decent capacity, the thermostat is accurate, the lid does what it's supposed to do. It's a worthwhile purchase and I'm happy to recommend that you buy one. Or two if you'd like to keep your beef dripping for triple cooked chips.

Deep fat fryer hardly any smell with decent oil build quality seems OK as you get what you pay for plus looks good OK in kitchen..

Great purchase excellent value,only use for chips . Heats up quickly great tasting chips. The only slight negative is that the handle is a bit tricky to slide into the designated slots, but I must add that this is by no means a big minus and I still think the results and for the price it’s a win win
