I love this blanket. It's perfect size for me, I'm 5'3". I got the 48x70 and it's 12 pound. It's heavy but not so heavy I can't move. It gives comfort like a hug. It's heavy to carry though haha. Love the blue mink, it's very soft. I keep it on my bed for my RLS and it helps so much with anxiety and panic attacks. Definitely worth it!

Not too heavy at 10lbs. The size is good because it doesn’t fall off the bed. The purple is dark and earthy. Plush fabric is soft and nice quality. No shedding so far.

The blanket is perfect. The 20lb weight is great and versatile for both me and my wife. The beads are nice and small and hardly noticeable. The one caveat I have is that the overall fabric is quite thin, and having pets around I could easily see it tearing. (Certainly don’t want a boat load of beads popping out.)That said, the first thing we did when we unboxed it was ordered a duvet cover for it. So that is just one thing to consider as an additional cost.

The texture of the minky one specifically was very soft and squishy. It’s fairly warm, and didn’t have any kind of factory smell. However, it is pretty small compared to my mattress in both length and width. I personally loved that aspect, but keep that in mind if you wanted a bed cover.

This is a great blanket. I am returning for a smaller size though. I would recommend that if you are new to weighted blankets, start small and light.. then work your way up. I started with a 17lb queen size.. It felt super heavy and I had heard before that starting smaller/lighter was better. So I have re-ordered a 7lb smaller size.. Overall, great blanket though, seems well made. The seams are tight and fabric is nice.

My son had been wanting to try a fairly heavy 18-25 lb) weighted blanket. So, the hunt was on. I had two primary concerns:1). The outer material, it’s softness & how it felt against his skin (both of my kids are very tactile!).2). The inner weighted material was also a consideration as I preferred glass beads on the inside and smaller sectioned pockets where they are placed. This makes for an even distribution of the beads, therefore: the weight.••THIS BLANKET FIT MY CRITERIA PLUS, IT HAD GREAT REVIEWS!! It looks very nice on his bed and has no off-putting smell.One small drawback; It’s very heavy so I must take it to a laundromat and use a 4-6 load washing machine just to launder it, strictly due to its weight, esp when it’s wet!! It gets heavy enough that it would likely go off balance or overload even the best non-commercial front / top loaders at home. The weight is tire, beads are very small and don’t bunch. The feel of the fabric is so very soft and soothing which adds to the whole experience of using this blanket.I just started using this after years of using one that leaked beads and was not as comfortable.That said, while is new, time will tell if it holds, I hope I get years of enjoyment from using this product!

Super happy with this weighted blanket as it is not as heavy as some others. Nice cotton feel fabric and the grey is very modern looking.

I just bought 2 more of these! Great weight distribution, super comfortble, attractive colors, and washes well. I wash everything before I use it, so in it went, cold gentle cycle with detergent and a dash of vinegar to set the color so it never runs or fades (important). It would take forever to hang dry and is too heavy to hang anyway so I popped it into the dryer with 2 dry bath towels. The blanket was perfectly dry in half an hour and my kid sleeping under it just 2 hours later. It was like magic watching this weighted blanket so gently confine, and then settle my wiggly ADHD child with restless legs. That's the 10lb 40x60 green blanket. I love it, so the next day I got the velvety soft blue for my other kid (it's gorgeous but might be too warm for some people, I suspect), and a 12lb 48x72 for myself. I chose not to get a queen because it is heavy, and I think a larger one would be awkward and cumbersome to position or adjust at night. Besides, I'm single. If I weren't, I'd still consider 2 twins instead of a queen, personally. None of my family have been sleeping well lately but I look forward to some good rest tonight! As for choosing weight, I'd have definitely gone heavier years ago when my anxiety was super intense. For me now, the 12 lb twin blanket feels like I'm free to move but with resistance and it feels right. I'm a somewhat petite female. I had a great snuggle under it to try it out, and now it's happily whirring in the washer.

Love the color. It didn't fade in the wash. Good weight. Did get hot at night but I removed a layer and slept great.
