If you are in the habit of buying animal figurines, you know that they can very widely in quality. This set of ten wilderness animal figurines is good quality. They are surprisingly painted and sized realistically in relation to each animal piece. Often times, figurines are made to be roughly equal in size, when in real life, they are not the same size. In this set, the big animals are bigger and the small ones are smaller.This is a set that any child will enjoy playing with. It would also make a great starter for topping a woodland themed birthday cake!Having purchased more widely known brands of animal figurines, I can say that for an average of $1.31 per piece, this is a decent price to pay. It is a toy set that will stimulate a child's imagination through hands on play. As an added bonus, they may even want to play outside with their new forest friends!

I usually just stick to Schleich animal figurines for my children, but when I found this available, I had to order. The quality is actually really good. The figurines look realistic and not cheap or poorly made like most children's animal figurines; the value seems great for what is offered. Happy with this product.

I've found using animal figures is a great way to introduce my son to different types of animals which leads to discussions about where they live, sounds they make and what food they eat. This set of ten woodland animal figures is a great addition to our animal collection. The figures appear anatomically accurate and the painting is nicely detailed. They feel sturdy and solidly built, however, they are a little smaller than I had envisioned and some of the smallest pieces may be choking hazards for my 1 year old. Overall, though, these figures are cute and lend themselves well to imaginative play for young children.

Our youngest daughter loves animals and different figurines. She came across the brand Schleich and has steadily been collecting different animals, figures, horses, and sets from them. I came across this woodland animal set and wondered how they would compare to the more expensive brand. The weight and durability of the figures seemed similar to the Schleich brand. The main difference between the two was in the detail and quality of the coloring and features of the animal. The Schleich brand seem much more realistic. Having said that, the price and value of this set is amazing and my daughter would not notice or care. I plan on finding alternative brands in the future as well because the cost savings is incredible.

This is a cute little set of plastic animals. My wife runs an afterschool program for kids grades K-6, and in the dark days of winter, the younger kids need toys to play with when they need to be indoors. These should definitely fit that bill. The animals are not scaled to relative size (the beaver is nearly the same size as the deer or the wolf) and come individually wrapped in recyclable clear plastic. The larger deer come with a bit of (recyclable) cardboard between their legs to keep them from being compressed in shipping. The white wolf's legs were not packed with cardboard, and they needed to be bent out a bit in order for it to stand on its own. All in all, a nice little set of animal toys.

These came individually wrapped. Some of the animals are definitely different than what you might get in a package, like the white wolf. The quality might be slightly better than dollar store quality but I was just a bit disappointed in this set for the price. For a 10 piece set, this runs over a dollar per piece and it just feels too steep. Not saying the animals aren’t cute, but without any other forest or woodland decorations, this set is lackluster.
