More a dark maroon which was disappointing. The rib is very fine and the fit too skinny for me. Not at all the texture I was after. The downside of ordering online, you cannot get a feel of the fabric. It so far washes well, but was not what I really was looking for in a ribbed under-jumper to help keep me warm in the winter.

The colour is not as shown. More a really dark purple. I was expecting a turtle neck as described, however it was a polo neck. I normally wear a medium size 12- 14 but despite ordering XL it's a very neat fit.Sorry guys. Good for the price but does not fit the description.Mags

So I handcpainted my favourite album art work on a dress and needed a red top to go under it.I wore it to go and see my most favourite band of all time ever!This top is very comfortable and easily to wear. The shade of red is perfect to match my dress and the art work on it.I was blessed enough to actually meet two of the band members and yhey signed my dress!!I was out in the freezing cold for many many hours, but I didn't feel it as much as some of the other fans there.The top is great. Fits really well and is the perfect shade.Would recommend
