First it is designed well to fit in your hand or in the carriage. Next the color LCD Display is bright and easy to read. It comes with a good instruction manual which is something you cannot say about many products made in China and sold here. It also has sound effects which you can adjust or even mute. Plus you have six languages to set this up in. And of course there are several ways to have this connected to other systems with the connection menu settings. I found the menu well thought out and intuitive, so easy to set up. The hands-free stand is a nice added feature so you are not tied to the device limiting your ability to use both hands for other tasks while making it easy to just pick up an item and pass it by the scanner. I also like the wired USB connection, and hands free with rechargeable batteries inside that hold a charge a long time from the USB cable. The best part I think is just the pickup and auto turn on feature with the trigger depressed which then also auto shuts off after you put it down and don't use it for a while. So basically, just grab and use without worrying about or looking for on/off switches. Very useful device to have if you have a need for a scanner like this.

I don't use this in a retail setting.I have a rather large collection of Magic: The Gathering cards and I use this to catalog and track which cards are in which binder/box. Having completed transitioning my system to using one of these, I can't imagine how I ever went without it.It sets up quickly and is very easy to use. The OSD makes using it, and troubleshooting any errors, a cinch. If you have any need to manage a large collection/assortment of items, in or out of a retail setting, this little device will make that task a whole lot easier!

Battery life is really good once you turn off QR Scanning and some other features. The only real issue is sometimes it unpairs from the base. Overall I'm quite happy

I got this to help with keep track of belongings in many boxes. I like how quickly it comes on and scans, and that it has an inventory mode to log scans and later upload to a PC.Scanner holds well in the hand. Hard plastic, no rubber grip. Some orange slightly rubber bands for shock absorbing. Light brightness continuously varies based on what's in front of it, which can be a little distracting. The stand holds it nicely, with adjustable angle. Scanner can be barely balanced upright on its own without the stand. Scanner charges with standard USB-B cable, no need to put it on the base.Setup is pretty easy with the on-screen menus (though going back is tedious, best to just press up and down together to exit menu, then re-enter). A screen really helps when troubleshooting, so you can see the status of things. The screen makes it easier to check and change settings, and diagnose problems. The beep can be made quiet so it's more pleasant (and vibration turned off).Scanning worked at 0.5-6" for a 0.25" QR code, 1-12" for a 0.5" QR code. It's about a 20-degree field of view. I'm pretty sure it's a 0.3MP camera (640x480). Doesn't scan well with lots of movement. It performs pretty quickly in good conditions, many per second. If scanner was off, takes less than a second to turn on and scan first barcode (once it's on scanning takes a split-second). Auto-scan worked well, quickly detecting motion in front and scanning. I tried many code symbologies and it has good support (Aztec in particular did work once enabled). Inverted worked (once enabled).Barcode aiming among multiple codes close together isn't reliable. As with many units, it scans a wider area in front than the red highlighted area, so if there are multiple codes close together it might get the one above. I found that with a couple of inches between codes, it was more reliable at getting the centered one.Connectivity worked decently. Bluetooth worked on a newer Android phone, with support for several different types (including just typing barcode as if on a keyboard). PC dongle worked fine as a keyboard under a recent Linux (Kubuntu 22.04), but I couldn't get the COM port mode to work (nothing came over the serial port). When uploading from inventory mode, it can quickly send everything, with little delay.

This is a well-made, full-featured barcode scanner with a bright screen and numerous barcode reading options. However, if this is your first one, you might want to go with something a bit simpler. I got it to help scan barcodes I'm adding to my cookbook collection but found it tricky to set up. There's a steep learning curve for me, but if you understand how to set up and use barcodes, then buy with confidence.

I got this to quickly inventory bags with 2D barcodes in datamatrix and QR encoding, and this one looked like a good one as it's portable and even has a screen. So far it has been great, and has worked fairly well! It has a USB to transfer the scan data to a computer, and that is what I've mostly used it for. The scanner is able to process the line feed and split characters in barcodes, and is highly configurable which is a great thing about it. The battery life seems good to me, and as long as it's fairly regularly charged it will always be ready. The screen is helpful for showing the data, battery charge state, and more - it's something I'm surprised I don't see more of in these types of scanners cause it's convenient. Overall it works for me and with my software, so it's a win from me!

to use and setup. I was running around going Beep, Beep, Beep all around the warehouse and saved me so much time and cut the errors down to almost 0!!!

I like how quickly they get the information to you. I wish the instructions were easier to read.

I tried several other scanners but this is the only one that works with all kind of pdf417 barcodes. With the charging base and wireless connection this scanner worth the money.

J’ai employé ce produit pour mon entreprise mais les instructions sont trop peu. Pas assez d’explications il faut comprendre par soit même donc il faut être une personne qui aime ou a le temps de fouiller pour avoir des informations
