In need of a new helmet for commuting, I was drooling over this simply because it looked so cool. I admit, I am a gadget lover so this product appeals to me. When it arrived I was full prepared to be disappointed as a lot of these gadgety things rarely live up to the hype. However, this is a well designed and constructed helmet with genuinely useful "smart" features.Fit - I have a 58cm head and the fit is just about the best I've ever had from a bike helmet. The helmet goes from 57 - 61cm so would be considered medium to large. It has an adjustable ratchet in the back and a chinstrap. It's very comfortable with no hard points or pinching.Weight - Very lightweight unlike my previous Bell helmet of similar design. The core is expanded styrene and the shell is ABS. It weights approx. 470gDesign - The design is quite futuristic tempered by a small leather-effect peak at the front. Similar in design to an equestrian helmet from the future. The construction is superb. The LED lights are housed underneath hard, automotive-like lens strips. The straps and clips are of good quality with separate padding on the chinstrap. There is a mesh screen underneath the ventilation slots to prevent insects and crud getting in your hair. The control unit is well designed and feels sturdy. It has small rubber bungie to attach it to your handlebars similar to a bike light. The charging port is housed under a rubber cover at the back of the helmet. The charging cable is USB with a proprietary magnetic connector similar to a Macbook power connector. Charging takes 3hrs via USB at 1 AmpSmart Features - It's easy to set up and the quick start instructions are very clear. The helmet requires pairing to the handlebar remote and your phone separately. If you've ever paired a Bluetooth headset to your phone it's the same process. Spoken instructions let you know the status of the helmet. Once paired to your phone you can use the helmet as you would a Bluetooth headset. Play music, make and receive calls, skip tracks, change volume etc. The sound output from the speakers is good and loud but more suited to speech than music as there is very little bass.Installing the Livall App gives access to more features such as changing the light patterns, auto light sensing function and seeing the battery status of the helmet and the handlebar remote. It also has some basic cycle computer functions such as speed readout etc. The app can also be set up to send an SOS message to another number if the helmet detects a serious impact.Light Features - The helmet has three lighting sections. A central rear taillight and two direction indicator strips that wrap from back to the side. Pressing the left or right button on the handlebar remote activates the corresponding direction indicator which chases from the rear to the side, along the helmet. Similar to the chasing indicators on certain car brands. An intermittent beep also sounds from the corresponding left or right earphone.The indicators turn off after a few seconds. You can't cancel the indicator light which was a bit disappointing.The lights automatically turn on when it gets dark and goes into a standard mode which can be set from the app. You can have the lights on, chasing from back to front (called Flow), Flashing or off.I'm very happy with this helmet and it has exceeded my expectations. It is expensive but I think i'ts worth the money as there is a lot of good design here. The whole product has been carefully thought out and well constructed.

Great product although quite expensive. Very comfortable and a good design that allows for good protection. Bluetooth music and phone very clear both hearing and speaking. Battery last between 8-10 hours when used continually. Charging rate is a few hours. Lighting on the helmet is very good and linked to unit on handlebars enables turning signals easy.A great helmet and highly recommended.Setup very easy and App is useful and easy to use.

The helmet it self is well made. Personally, comfort could be a little better. All works great, except the speakers are a bit weak. I suppose that is so you can hear external noise .

I have had this helmet for 4 weeks now it is my second one the first would not switch off hence I gave a bad review now that I have had the helmet for a few weeks I was maybe a bit harsh on my review I think the helmet is brilliant and so far ha done everything that is asked of hence the 5 stars

I had 3 different versions of this helmet... Older model with speakers and newer model with and without speakers.I think the helmet could be a bit more comfortable and have MIPS technology, especially at this price point.Remote control is too small and it's not easy to press buttons correctly when wearing gloves. I think the left/right direction buttons are the most important and should be MUCH bigger and separated from the rest of the buttons.Sometimes the connection is lost and you have to press the buttons few times. In city traffic, this is a major issue and the connection HAS to work 100%, every time. The speakers should be much louder or closer to the ears. Or even ear pads which could protect the ears on cold days. I had to wear a thin hat under the helmet. The front lights should be much stronger. It's good idea but it need LOTS of improvement.

Cycling

There are so many issues that it is hard to start with something in particular...On the advertisement's photos the helmet seems great, I was looking forward for that leather visor. It turned out to be made out completely of plastic without any minimal resemblance of leather, not at all!!It is not that comfortable, but that is just personal and for that price, a MIPS system would have been an appropriate addition.The speakers are just bad, surely not for listen music and are way to far from your ears bringing you to raise the volume quite a bit.The indicator lights though is ok, does the job but the buttons for left and right turn needs to be bigger.I also like the magnetic connector on the cable charger but what happens if that brakes or the cable get lost? A spare one is almost a necessary addition. Aftershokz does that when you purchase the aeropex headphones that has a specific magnetic connection.. two cables! One stays at home and the other one in your pocket.So far I didn't have many connection problems, so that is a bonus but also I am not using this helmet that much just because it is not that good!I should have returned it and get my money back.. well, too late now..

Mindblowingly great helmet! It’s made a big impact on my commute, I’m more noticed on the road for sure. I also love being able to receive calls without stopping to dig out my phone.But my favourite feature has to be being able to listen to radio 4 on my 30 minute ride interesting work. Boring but true!

Je viens de recevoir mon casque avec lequel je vais au boulot tous les jours.Il est terrible, au top niveau sécurité avec les clignotants qui indique la direction, la musique connectée en bluetooth sans mise en danger car pas très fort.Les mousses internes me paraissent suffisamment épaisse pour me protégerJ'aime ++

Antes de nada, he de decir que el casco lo compramos en diciembre de 2020 como regalo de reyes. En su día costó 118€ por si a alguien le sirve la información.A día de hoy sigue funcionando perfectamente y no ha habido problema.La verdad es que el casco es genial. Yo incluso teniendo la cabeza muy pequeña me queda bien, porque tiene una ruleta para ajustar el tamaño para cabezas más o menos pequeñas.Los intermitentes, los altavoces... Todo, funciona a la perfección.Lo que no hemos probado es a tirar/caer el casco como si tuviéramos un accidente para activar el modo de aviso a urgencias y espero que nunca haga falta.Es caro? Sí, pero merece la pena. Yo no me arrepiento de haberlo comprado.

Lo uso da oltre un mese quando vado al lavoro in bicicletta. Leggero, comodo e le luci sono molto ben visibili. Credo di aver fatto un ottimo acquisto e per questo lo consiglio a chi vuole un casco da bici che aumenti la sicurezza e non voglia spendere un occhio della testa.La presenza delle luci e degli indicatori luminosi di direzione permettono di viaggiare tenendo le mani sempre sul manubrio. Ottimo, no?Consigliatissimo.

Der neue Fahrradhelm von Livall ist sehr bequem, er lasst sich leicht in der Grösse anpassen, passt meinem Sohn mit 10 Jahren und mir mit Wintermütze trägt sich sehr angenehm, Telefonfunktion gut brauchbar, Musik mit wenig Bass aber Ok, Blinker Funktion mit akustischer Unterstützung zur Kontrolle sehr gutes Feature, gut bedienbarer Remote Controller auch mit Handschuhen. Tolles App mit schönen Tachometer anzeigen, Trackdarstellung, Trainingsverläufen, sehr gute Hilfestellung mit FAQ, Notfall Modus mit drei Tel Nummern zum Benachrichtigen. Ach ja, toll aussehender auch noch ein echter Hinkucker.
