Better than stock
This was for a replacement for the E-Revo VLX 2.0 ESC which stopped working suddenly aftrr i plugged in the batteries and without even running hard pulled the trigger and the ESC died. For this new ESC I plug in the batteries, turned it on, used the app, and started ripping. So far so good

I have two of these esc motor combo systems in my speed run car and my basher truck love both of them.

Works perfectly and add a ton of power to your stock 8s system. Easy set up and the inboard bluetooth is the way to go.

Works great in traxxas UDR, app needs work but eventually everything worked and the truck runs amazing with factory motor and ez run esc

Love the built in Bluetooth feature. Works great in my XRT powerful 200amps barely even gets warm.

A Must Have for any 8s RC Rig
The new Max6 ESC is an excellent deal. It is simple to program and has a 200A esc as opposed to the previous 160A version. If you're thinking about upgrading your ESC, this is the budget friendly version that will give you the best bang for you money.
