Had problems, but in the and it's a good cable with good post-sale support.
One star for one reason. I've bought the incorrect length, too short, ok. Bought a 2 meters one which arrived today and I'd returned the shorter one. However I'm not able to REMOVE the cable from my monitor. Does not matter how hard I press the "button" to release it and I'm afraid I'll damage the display port connection of my monitor if I keep trying. The other end came out easily like it should but no matter I'd do the part plugged to my monitor does not come out! What am I supposed to do? Well, I know. I will tear it apart in order to remove it and will send it back as it is.Edit 1Today is 05/02/201, the new cable still rocking good. No problem removing it and inserting again. The cable itself is good and well made, the 1st sure was defective. Recommended!Edit 2Today is 22/07/2020, the cable started to develop a issue, I seeing some really quick horizontal lines in random moments while just browsing internet or when gaming. Swapped to another DP port and the lines are gone. Contacted the manufacturer, let's see where it goes.Edit 3Today is 27/07/2018, The manufacturer fully covered the warranty, I quickly received a new 2 meters DP cable, fitted and the horizontal lines are gone.I can't recommend them more.Updated the rating to 5 stars.

Top quality and much improved on-screen imagery
Expensive but delivers what it promised - up to 8K signals to a premium level. Both computer and monitor are relatively new, the monitor the older by a couple of months, the PC less than a month old and were previously connected by an HDMI cable. Now, there is much more 'snap' aka brightness and contrast being delivered.The latching provides secure connections; that was a particular issue with the HDMI cable previously used as, although light, it sometimes disconnected just sufficiently to cause the screen image to flicker. This is also quite heavy, not least due to its multiple levels of shielding and the heavier-gauge of signal cabling.On this performance, there would be no hesitation in buying another when the need arises.

Working DP1.4 over 4m length.
Having just built a new gaming pc, I treated myself to a 4K/144hz monitor. That requires a DP1.4 cable and I actually need 4m to reach to the monitor (clearly the guy who built this house in 1910 wasn't planning for 4K gaming!). Having tried other respected brands, it transpired that they could not guarantee 1.4 capability past 3m. The result was intermittent black screen.This cable (Club3D CAC-1069 DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.4 x 4m) arrived yesterday, and fingers crossed I've had no black screen since. It's very think, quite stiff and has very solid connectors. +£40 seems a lot for a cable, but not when it's put in context of driving an £800 monitor.Don't scrimp on the cable. This seems very good.
