Great quality, effortless to use, and cuts possibly 2X faster than my foil shaver
Have had for less than a month, and so far, this Norelco 2400 shaves amazingly fast and does not leave any patchy areas that I have to pass over again and again like some shavers require, like another brand rotary shaver that I just returned. Only once did I get this one to pull/snag a hair, but I was testing it by moving it crazy-fast over a several day hair growth, and finally made it do so. Otherwise, under normal use, it never snags hair. For several day hair growth, I probably should pass over my face first with beard clippers, but this does great on 2 or 3 day length hair. It probably doesn't shave as microscopically close as a foil, but it shaves close enough that I'm not using the foil shaver anymore. It also cuts the laid-down, longer hairs that a foil shaver cannot cut.

Better than i thought it would be.
This is the first electric shaver i've ever used so i can't compare but i think it does a great job. I don't have to fool with shaving cream or even wetting my face. I just run this over my face and i'm good to go. I find it works better if i hold it lightly over the skin. If i press down too hard, it doesn't shave as smoothly. And the shave is smoother than i thought i would get with an electric razor. Is it QUITE as smooth as i used to get with my old manual razor? Nope. Do i care? Nope. It's plenty close enough and i save a lot of time. For the price, it's well worth it.

Great first shaver
I bought this shaver for my son's first shaver. He was worried about razor burn, cuts and rashes and wanted to try an electronic shaver. He has used it for a month and it has met every need. It holds a charge for a long time. He has not had any skin issues or cuts. The shaver provides a decently close shave as well. It is a little bulkier than other shavers on the market which does not make it great for travel. But it is a great at home option. It is a great value for this price point.

Twice the price of the cheapest no-names but worth it
This shaver is much better than the no name versions that are about half the price. Lower noise, better cutting and a more quality feel. Not having the digital battery level display is fine.

Interesting purchase | Deliberately slow but shaves better than my $200 Panasonic
Yeah, I was a little taken aback when I first fired this (runs on battery only), and it sounded and was only 30% the "speed" I'd expected. It's definitely slow, but take a couple of minutes instead of 30 seconds, and it eventually gives a good close shave (surprisingly better than the expensive Panasonic), plus it's a lot more comfortable to use, with the three rotary heads instead of a big brick straight head like the Panasonic).

Battery denies best performance
This thing performs well and I could give it 5 star if it had Lithium Ion battery. But the power fades quickly like it uses NiCad or NmH obsolete battery tech. This is important because its like putting a VW engine in a Ferrari. It has the components for a powerful shave but the mfg doesn't let you have it. You get one good performance. The other thing is the trimmer is weak and cheesy. But I guess the mfg has to compete with 'me too' features without regard for people actually using the trimmer. I am really disappointed that I am denied more than one good shave. If I can't get the performance, the mfg does't get a better review.

Awesome product.
This works SO well. We are so glad to not have to go to the barber anymore- we’re so happy we can cut hair at home now. Great product for the money.
