I bought this as a pocket torch to do my daily vehicle checks with at 4am.It is a good size to fit in a jacket pocket or clip to a belt,The torch takes 1x AA battery and produces a bright beam that in an unlit area travels quite a distance for its size,There are 3 modes, Brightest, bright and continuous flashing.You can focus its beam to a smaller point by extending the end of the torch.The build quality feels good and the clip is firm unlike others that snap off easily.I feel this torch is excellent value for money and would recommend it, I have even bought 2 more as stocking fillers.

Really good value for money, very bright and a well built flashilght :)Handy to have a couple dotted around for this price (Car, Garage, bedside table etc)The button on the back is a simple click to make switch. Simply switch it on so it clicks, then half press to go through from Full, Low, Strobe back to Full in a loop.If you turn the device back off and on within a couple of seconds it will go the next mode, but the circuits inside must have a small capacitor to remember the previous function as if the torch is left for more than about 10 seconds it starts in the default full mode.This is good as it means it's not using any battery for a memory function when switched off (unlike some multi fucntion torches I've used that seem to have a small constant drain)my only slight criticism is that the zoom function could do with the ability to zoom out a little more in my opinion (throws a fairly tight 1m wide beam when lighting the path a couple of meters ahead of you) but for the price it's still brilliant :)

Really impressed with this little pocket torch. Takes one AA battery and lasts me about a month in work. The clip is excellent and a good reason to buy this torch. Other previous torches I've had have been lost due to a plastic or weak clip- not this one though, it's really strong.Good bright light with 3 settings and an excellent low price compared to similar torches.

Perfectly effective little torch which provides a good light. Adjustable by sliding the lens hood in or out, but whilst the rest of the torch appears quite rugged this mechanism doesn't inspire confidence - it just feels a bit loose. The belt clip seempluss well made and built to last. It's a pocket torch, and similar in size to many others, but I just feel it is just a little too small when held in the hand. A plus is that you can also get a bracket to use this torch on your cycle, and the pulse mode would come into it's own here.

Great little torch. The light is nice and bright considering it's size, and yes there are much better though larger torches out there. Extremely nicely built. I can see this lasting for many, many years.

Bright torch though modes cycle each time you turn it off so you may unexpectedly produce rapid flashing when you want a solid beam. Unless I'm just unlucky it seems all the flashlights I get now retain the mode they were turned off on.

Super bright, great size, very hard-wearing. I keep mine in the car for emergencies but it's small enough to fit in a pocket or handbag easily.

It's pretty bad, all it needs to do is turn on and off but it can't even do that. A box of matches would be better, hell even a sheet of white paper would be more useful in the dark than this turd of a product.
