The Most Comfortable Hiking Shoe Ever!
I purchased these shoes for a hiking trip in the Smokey Mountains. I climbed to the top of the third highest mountain and down in about 10 hours of straight in these shoes. This was the first time I ever wore them. They didn't need to be broken in and my feet NEVER hurt in these shoes. The rest of me hurt after that whopper of a climb, but not my feet. They're shaped a little different than regular shoes, but that's to give your feet and toes the optimal room they need to move correctly. They're lightweight and have decent sole grip and yet, the sole is thin enough for your feet to feel what's going on beneath them. Not in an uncomfortable way though. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone who loves going barefoot and loves hiking, walking, climbing. You truly can't go wrong with these shoes. I love them and am so happy I got them.

Not sure how these are going to do
I love walking barefoot so I wanted to try these shoes. I hike a lot and haven't taken them on a long hike yet but it is a little strange getting used to the feel of them. I think they're going to do okay and my feet will be comfortable but they are really not good looking shoes.

Love these shoes!!!!
If I have to have shoes on my feet, then these are the ones I will wear. I've recently started going barefoot for the most part but bought these for hiking and rougher areas. I love them! So comfortable and exactly what I wanted. You will need to strengthen your feet if you have been in high support shoes for a long time. It will take time, but well worth and so much better for your overall health.

Absolutely love these hiking shoes!
I have a high foot arch and instep and many shoes hurt my feet. I love to be barefoot also, so to have hiking shoes that allow my feet to move and flex has been such a relief. Absolutely love these shoes!

Extremely comfortable.
Very comfortable trail shoes, great for my morning walk, and great for jogging. I love my xero shoes and own several pairs, they are the only shoes I wear.

Love my xero shoes
They are so comfortable. Since I’ve been wearing xero shoes, my weak ankles have gotten stronger. The muscles in my high arches had to stretch out a bit to get used to them, but I just went for a 4 mile walk and felt great. I love the secure feeling of being flat on the ground.

Good trail shoe
These are great if you have wider feet. Plenty of room for normal swelling that comes from hiking. The back cradles the heel without rubbing. The only downside is I had to add a slim shock absorber insert because there isn’t enough cushion for really rocky terrain. If you’re hiking on a smoother surface or sandier trails you won’t need it. I will be looking at more Xero shoes in the future. Solid shoe at a reasonable price point.Update Oct 2020: the insert ended up not working out. It was slim but raised me foot up just enough to cause rubbing. I’ve used them several other times and find no padding is needed. It just takes a bit to get used to the zero-drop barefoot feel.

So far, so good!
I have struggled with sneakers (and shoes) for years now. I have plantar fasciitis, a peroneal tendon injury and osteochondritis. Barefoot shoes seem to be the only shoes that don’t aggravate the plantar fasciitis. I love Merrell trail glove 5, but needed something for hiking as my beloved Keens we’re leaving me in incredible pain. I’ve only worn these around the house as I don’t want them dirty if I have to return them. So far, they feel great. My foot doesn’t hurt in them and I feel as if I have full range of motion. I’m looking forward to hiking in them to see how my bum foot does with them.
